Nothing could stop her except- “He knows.” She pulled up short, shutting her eyes tightly, “no.” She felt a tug on her shoulders as Mira forced her to face her. “Jali, he does and there’s,” Mira faltered her eyes briming with tears, “there is nothing we can do.” The full weight of the words settled in and Jali’s shoulders dropped. “Everything?” Jali asked. Mira nodded and the last flicker of hope extinguished.

He made his way down the alley way, stepping lightly to avoid the various puddles from the recent rain. The only light came from glimmering lamp posts in the distance. A cat walked across the street, its tail twitching high in the air. It hissed angrily as a chamber pot was emptied from a second floor window, missing the boy by a hair. “Wotcher!” He shouted up angrily. The window was pulled open and a maid poked her head out. Before she could say anything, a loud rumbling of an engine filled the streets. The boy, the maid and the cat stared as a black car raced down the street.

The streets were packed, everyone hurrying to their next destination. Nobody blinking an eye as they dodged a single still figure standing in the middle of the side walk. The lone figure watched the commotion with sad eyes. What else haven’t they noticed?

The road was long and the constant bump and movement of the car made her paranoid. Nothing frightened her more than the idea of a flat tire. Her own body, weak and small, would never be able to fix it and she would be left stranded. She gripped the steering wheel tighter and told herself the movement of the car was simply the bumps and cracks in the road and the tires were fine. Her tires would last the trip.

I feel myself sinking and it isn’t sad. The water is deep and inviting. I feel I should be upset, maybe cry. But the water is all that surrounds me and I feel okay. SInking isn’t so bad, I think. I sink.

The same thing happening over and over. It’s like going insane. can’t stop it it keeps going. Maybe like a circle and everything just keeps well repeating and there’s nothing we can do about it.

i listen to the radio in the car and at work and they seem to play all the same songs over and over again i love songs that say they were listening to the radio or some other refernce to it i like old radios that are huge and super vintage looking. singing loudly to the radio in the car is more fun when everyone in the car knows the song

His song was moving, it touched her, she wasn’t that kind of girl. The kind who sat around pining for guitar playing bad boys, she’d just as easily have no one or be alone. But he, he didn’t sing like someone who thought they were better than they were, he almost seemed afraid as if strumming the chords and singing along was nearly as nerve wracking as sharing his soul.

a figure can mean many things.. it can be the figure of a person most likely a woman.. a figure of a woman is very intriguing.. a figure can also be a number.. you can also figure something out.. math, a problem, the combination on a lock.. figure is a very versatile word.. as in “I would like to figure out the directions to the bank.” or “I figure we can make it to the movie before it starts.” but i like the figure of a woman the best.. the way her waist curves into her hip and up into her breast..
