chores
hate them. love them. do them. all day every day, cinderella washes her hands in the dirty sink that her evil stepmother assigns her to. chores haunt us until we fall into our graves of hopeful cleanliness. chores scold us until we fall to our knees begging for the night off. chores are what you make of them. evil or beautiful. they’re just chores.
