a sliver of glass was all it took. the balloon popped and cause a wild rush towards the finish line. that was the last time i saw him. he disappeared beneath hundreds of feet.

the sliver horse ran across the frozen lake. It saw the light from the old mans house and knew something was wrong. as he got close to the house he saw the old man was dead.
