when at night i lie down on the pillow reading with the light of the street sipping from a glass of wine i sink down in my mind and find rest

drops

I saw drops of rain. like drops of my sweat on a hot summer afternoon. drops of my blood when i cut myself slicing vegetables in the kitchen. its a drop of water from a leaking faucet that drives me nuts!
