hassle
You get up and go. Go downstairs and make breakfast. Go to work. Go to lunch with lame colleagues. Go back to work. Go home.
Demands. Constant demands. What the fuck. When does the hassle of life cease? When does the calm come? Is the storm over?
Wine. Hello wine.

it’s all a big hassle isn’t it? going on in this world when you are down and everything is against you it makes it all a bit unbearable.

reporter
dream job. too bad it’s not reality. thanks life, and ambition. I could have written about killer koalas attacking anacondas in sub-saharan Africa. All the fiction. Reporting? No. Social commentary. But alas! Never to be. Real life is already a fiction, why not expand on it through the power of words and susceptibility of people? Prey on the ignorant through naive belief.
I am fox news.

dilemma
i have a dilemma. I’m in love with my best friend but value our friendship too much to want to ruin it. I don’t know that me telling him my feelings would ruin it but i think the risk is scary. I want him more now than i ever have.

The dilemma, the problem with her life was that nothing changed. Everything always stayed the same. The same people always walked by, with the same news, same groceries, same plans. The only thing that changed was the rising amount of gray hairs on peoples’ heads.

transform
she was once a young girl, her life sprawled out infront of her like a river, many twists and turns along the way. She was once inchanted by the way the world worked, the magic that it held.

I wasn’t sure exactly how this would happen, but I was prepared to accept the consequences as they came. I was prepared to begin a new life and end the one I had been living all these years. I was prepared to transform.

stunt
the stage is set, the lights dim as the hum of the audience subsides. the red curtains are drawn away to reveal her, a statue in the mist of the mangled remains of those who have died to achieve the stunt.

A stunt will be the end of me, but if I play it to safe I’ll never live on the edge. And living on the edge is what makes people really live. A stunt will bring me to pain or success but either way, I’ve lived, so I won.

leading
I am a leader, a leader takes everyone around them and shows them the way to go, or the best way to go. It takes time to be a leader, to stand out. But being a follower isnt always bad either. You might not get your own way all the time or get your ideas across.

retrieve
I could hear the ball approaching. It dove through the air like a nuclear missile, aimed with precision at a spot I could never reach, but I was already there. My tail a-wag, I felt the sweet joy of a well-caught retrieval in my future. Leaping from my hind legs, I lunged.

lodge
The dinner food was fitting for a place of such barren essentials. Just a trench of potatoes slopped on with the hope of filling your hunger. No nutrients, no health benefits. Some charred meat that was indistinguishable and looked bland.

nourish
I nourish me. I nourish me by going to yoga, by taking long walks, by spending time with my family, my niece, my partner, my nephew, in nature, eating good quality foods, breathing deeply, running outside

temper
This could be reffering to temperature, or temperment, or even anger. I am honestly not entirely sure! It’s quite cold where I’m from. and I’m not that angry of a person… but I sometimes I can hold a grudge. does that have anything to do with a temper?

i gotta lotta junk in my trunk. you can hide a dead body in a trunk. a person once got killed in a trunk because he thought it’d be okay to ride in it, they were all drunk. when i think of trunk, i don’t think of pleasant. actually the idea of a trunk really scares me. despite knowing the story above, i let a friend of mine ride in a trunk, we were drunk. she didn’t die though.

fixed
All was mended but not fixed. I mean the problem could be looked over but not resolved. I don’t think anything would ever be normal again. But that’s tragedy. It leaves things broken,. Always just patched. Not living, existing. There but not present.

Society is fixed, it seems. There’s no way to change the morals and thoughts ingrained into generation after generation. It’s sad, really. Change should be embraced.

people think i need to be fixed. that im too loud or too opinionated. well screw them. i am who i am. i’m not some fool who changes for people. i am me. i am a child of the almighty GOD who was made a certain way for a purpose and a reason. i do NOT need to be fixed.

pattern
I see pattern in everything. Breathing, blinking, even walking. It’s like OCD. Sometimes people have to walk an even number of steps, or make sure the pressure used with each foot is equal. And other times it’s just going shopping and choosing a new dress. Patterns are everywhere, in everything. If only we take the time to look.

swing
A sword swung past him, and Drake ducked to avoid the weapon that would have decapitated him. He parried, bringing his sword up to meet the challenge.
“Drake!” called out Selena, “Hurry up!! The others already got through!”
“I’m coming!” he cried, simultaneously blocking and running.
“DRAKE!” screamed Gwen, her voice thick with concern. “RUN!”

I used to love the swing at recess. Me and my friends would compete to see who could go the highest. When we went at the same time we would yell silly things like “get out of my bathroom!” Now I look back and wonder where we even heard that. It was always so much fun to see who was most daring. We would see could jump from the highest point. We would then get in trouble with the teachers. The swing was a big part of my life back then.
