sure

In life today, one can never be “sure.” Nothing in life is guaranteed or definitely going to happen. We don’t know what we’re going to have for dinner let alone what we’re going to do about the future. The world is so uncertain and unstable that in a moment, everything we were so “sure” about can be unbalanced or even destroyed completely. I guess the moral of the story is that we can’t take anything, even the smallest things, in our life for granted. You never know if or when they could be taken from you.

people

are cool. Except there are days when people themselves hate people, as a whole. Who can deny that being a person is hard? Even though belonging to this group makes a person a social being, sometimes solitude is better than solidarity. People are cool is a misconception, society, consisted of people, created the term ‘cool’; therefore, is being cool a reality?

alive

it’s the feeling that we all get, as the world spins around through the universe. A cocktail of vibrant emotions, illustrating the perfect humanity that we are. I feel alive with the greatest of accomplishments, the worst of failures, and the most subtle pleasures of life.

Engineer. Captain. Cook. Mercenary. Medic. Pilot.

Without one, there would be none.

auxiliary

The main engines had failed and the back up power was gone. All that remained were the heavily damaged auxiliary engines. Their hope failed them as quickly as their ship had and they closed their eyes, ready for the crash and their deaths.

problems, problems, problems. she had a dilemma, always, her life, a constant dilemma. no matter which way she turned, there she faced another problem, a dissatisfaction.

tempted

He was tempted. So tempted. Tempted mightily, but he knew he shouldn’t. It was heartbreakingly tempting. But he wouldn’t do it. He was better than that. Stronger. He was the strongest, most unbreakable of them all. Surely he wouldn’t?

occasion

today I had the opportunity to do nothing, it was no special occasion, I had been doing the same thing all summer. It was time for me to get away from all the stress in life and there was no better time than now.

logical

it is uasdfn state of mind and kind of a poison way of thinking if we bind ourselves within the constructs of logic. why be bound by this concept. this idea above many has shaped the way we think and created boundaries that we do not dare to think outside of. as if a prison for the mind, logic trumps dreams, fantasy, love and simple play. Logic is the creativity and free thought what acid is to a human hand. terrible analogy but it’s true. we’ve been hemmed in by the idea that our world must make sense, that to be illogical is to be wrong. perhaps it’s school, the great institutions of logic, that have trained us to be servants to fact and the rules of thought. I say ignore logic, embrace random thoughts that make no sense at all. Within that idea is true freedom to dream a new reality and explode the scientific paradigm, the stuffy halls of academia and the concrete and capitalist world that bounds us. Abandon logic and we are one step closer to a free nation under God.

evidence

evidence is something that is always there to support you. it will help you when no one else is there to believe you. you should always rely on evidence but make sure they are credible first. you should not settle for doubtful evidence. evidence is everywhere… you just need to know where to look for it. it will not come to you. you should search for it. yes you should.

proud

I don’t know what I am proud of anymore. There’s not much I have done in my life to be proud of. Failed marriages, lost jobs, lies I’ve told, people I have slept with that I shouldn’t have slept with and people I didn’t sleep with who I should have. If I could count down the minutes of my life, I would say I am proud of less than a three year old.

dial

i like to dial the phone sometimes and just call random people. you know, just people that you would never normally talk to. i don’t know. it makes me feel special when i talk to these people. like i’m connecting to something unique and different. the world is connected just through ten digits? it’s just cool I think. but you never know i guess, it could turn into a bad thing. i don’t know, how could it? do you?
