civilize
what are we that can call ourselves civilized? we are but apes compared to those who may observes us just as we call those savages whom we cannot understand. we are not civilized, merely meaner in our understanding of what makes someone proper. what makes someone proper? it’s all a matter of who raised you.

orchestra
The orchestra was tuning. Random notes shot out of the mess with a screech. It almost hurt my ears. But still, it was beautiful.

icicle
The icicle was near breaking off the edge of the roof. I could see it before it fell. Had I not, it could have killed that kid. Instead it shattered into a million frozen pieces, all melting faster now that they weren’t together.
