real
nothing, why would you want real? why would you want reality when you can have your own dream world? Real usually means your accepting something you do not want too, so why accept it? Why accept when you can deny? When you can create and make your own? I do not want real, I refuse real and open my mind to fake, open my mind to dreams. I open my mind the unknown, to the beauty of fiction.

headphones
I love the way headphones make music sound closer and they drown everything else out. But alright WHO INVENTED THOSE WHO STICK INTO YOUR EARS bitch I don’t wanna listen to my music with a q-tip. Anyway I like headphones. Oh wait those are earphones….

magazines
Every day Janie and I picked up magazines from the dumpster and flipped through them together. We were thankful that the neighbors threw them away so we could collect them and tear out the pictures we liked. We couldn’t read the captions but the celebrity photos were strange and colorful and made us laugh. It was nice to laugh at the rich people. I don’t want to be rich anymore, because I don’t want people to laugh at me.

downpour
I always wanted to be kissed in a downpour. It just seems so romantic. It sounds kinda cheesy and stupid but I want it to happen. It’s like the notebook or something. It would be awesome.

husband
Well, they have to be faithful. When they’re not it runs people and things. My father was an unfaithful husband and ruined our family. And my mother. why did he do it? I don’t know. He’s just worthless in everyone’s eyes but his own.

sacrifice
Its when you give something up for someone/something else. I think sacrifice is worth it when you do it for someone you love. When you do it for someone you love, it doesn’t feel like a sacrifice. It feels like the right thing to do. Always.

stacks
In the morning, my mother had already cooked up a nice stack of blueberry pancakes for breakfast. The aroma of the morning air mixed with cooking was just what I needed as a pick me up from the day before. With the reminses still scattered around the living room. i stacked up the books and sat down to be served.

port
The port bow on the ship dipped and swayed with the rhythm of the sea. A face appeared in the window, nervousness written all over his face. Would his crew stand by his decision to continue or would they make a mutinous decision?

ticket
She took the paper life in her black gloved hand, gliding through the line to the platform. The ticket flew out of the leather pincers, floating forever away, taking her hopes with it.

her veins were the slender dried stems of summer plants. plants reaching toward sun, her hands reaching toward me. my heart broke to think she thought i was infallible.

history
It’s funny that the study of the past is called HIStory. And it’s also worthwhile to note that history has long been concerned with the exploits of men. However, women, from birth, were trained to not make waves, to behave and to do what they were told. It’s worth noting because well-behaved women seldom make history.

clover
To everyone, it brings luck. But to even more it symbolizes family, faith, tradition. Its as common in Irish Catholic households, as the sign of the cross!

acoustic
This really just makes me think of what I want to do with my life. I would love to work with music and listen to people play music for a living. It makes me think of guitars and such. This also makes me think of the guy I am dating, Kaleb because he plays acoustic guitar. Acoustic guitar, in my opinion, is much more down to earth than electric.

heels
The heels of my feet are terrible. They were fine back home in the humid climate of New Orleans. But now in the Texas weather, the dry hot mess, my heels have cracked and peeled. Layers and layers of skin, exposed like stubble only sharper. I file them down frequently, but they are never as smooth as they once were.

wander
Wanderlust was her favorite word. The moment she felt compelled to stay put she ventured forth to another city, time and space. Loneliness was not an emotion that she was accustom to, but on that day as she turn the lime green frosted knob to her bedroom, she felt a twinge in her stomach.
