forgetting
he was always forgetting things. his keys. his wallet. their anniversary.
oh, their anniversary. forgetting things was just inconvenient, but this one cut to the core, every time. hours, days, weeks of sulky behaviour, “how could you?!”s thrown around like the confetti that had decorated their wedding pictures.
the day they met. her smile. their first kiss. the way she looked in the morning when still half asleep. these were the things he would never forget.

sideburns
sideburns are a comical phenomenon. as a girl, i don’t really get it. if they’re too long, they’re silly. if they’re too short, they’re silly. but who decided the original sideburns length? weird.

curiosity killed the cat, isn’t that what they say? and yet if man wasn’t curious, surely we’d still be living in caves and bashing things with clubs. or is that the way god intended it? no, no, silly me. if man (or woman, as the case may be) wasn’t curious, we’d still be in the garden of eden, happy as larry. who is this larry anyway? there’s curiosity, again.

determined
my best friend has had quite an interesting past and childhood but was determind to live with love in her heart and raise her children surrounded with love and acceptance and i think she is one of the best role models in my life. i dont know where i would be without her and i love her like a sister

paint, paper, catalogues all sorts of things, very prissy and girly, mmm gloss, i don’t like gloss magazines, i much prefer the paper magazines, especially recycled paper ones, like toast catalogues, yeah!
