butterfly
beautiful, graceful, colorful, fragile, death, life, the butterfly effect. Many people are scared of butterflies. Many more people are not afraid of butterflies.

The corpse sat in the coffin, awaiting its master’s call. It did not move, and was thus still, but it hummed with an unnatural life all the same.

compassion
I fell at her feet, and looking up into those beautiful green eyes, and the red hair, that beautiful woman who I always called Lily affectionately. I looked up at her, and asked her, “Won’t you reconsider? I have shown you so much compassion?” She then bit my head off and flew off back to her home world.
