lamb
The bible mentions the lamb as a peaceable animal on many occasions. It says that the lamb is one of innocence, something without sin. Why? Why is the lamb so innocent? Is it the white of it? Isn’t that a tad racist? Maybe not. I don’t know. There are black sheep too, you know. Perhaps it is the fact that the lamb is weak (physically)? Although I suppose a ram isn’t so much.

past
The past came whirling back to him after the brick stuck his head. He looked up first to see where the brick had fallen from or by whom the brick had been dropped. He was interested in more than just the memories. Although they were now demanding more of his thoughts than they ever had before. The shadows and light from the balcony shifted and a child’s face appeared.

institutions
Mental institutions lock people up. Educational institutions lock people up. What’s institutionalized is inherently structured, not free.

employees
Employees. The basis of the capitalist structure. Well, not really, that would be capital in general. Anyway, I digress. Employees are important to a prosperous economy.

arts
Everything we do is art. Most art we think about is visual. That’s due to society’s obsession with the eye, what is seen. Have the perception to see beyond that. See the art in everything. Or rather, feel the art in everything.

somebody
Everyone in the world is a somebody. It wouldn’t quite do to be a nobody. We’re somebody because we were just born with the consciousness to recognize that we’re some… body. A mass of cells in a magnificent world full of other bodies.

roar
what i think of is a lion approaching you and you dont know what to do when it does. You sit there with a face full of fear. It creeps closer and closer and you eventually get eaten. The beauty and grace of the lion is so overwhelming you can not feel bad getting killed by it.

major
I am a music performance major at McNallySmith College of Music. Actually, not performance, production. I like doing music, but I also like computers. This word is also part of a military title, and it’s a scale in music. There’s 12 notes and multiple octaves in music! I can’t believe I’m writing about this. I don’t know what else to say is major. My beliefs? Yes. They are a major focal point in my life.

dominant
For some reason my mind automatically jumps to the idea of patriarchal dominance continually perpetuated organically by society. Perhaps this is a result of my liberal arts education focusing on social constructs ad nausea. This is likely the case. Heteronormativity is a concept that is frequently misunderstood and taken as fact. Society must change. Let’s be progressive.

misty
When I think about misty, I think snoopy for some reason, like when he wrote about the dark and stormy night, then I think Pokemon, because the redhead was named misty. I didn’t really watch Pokemon and I didn’t really like the games, though fairly, I consider myself a gamer. A lot of people freak out at that fact.

manners
Manners, where did they go? The people here in SF seem to have lost them. Walking down the street everyone seems like they hate everyone that’s outside of their group. They don’t have any sense of respect for other people walking past them. It’s sad as we’re all brothers and sisters.

suspects
So, why do I fail and succeed in life… Am the one at fault? Or is it the world around me that brings me up or down?

sonar
As objects found by sonar, we must also send things out into the world to discover who we are. For we are what we create, not what we consume.

swan
The swan held on valiantly, struggling against the wind. Its neck was pitifully weak against the force, and it could not remain stationary. At last, the swan was swept away. I turned off the porch light and watched the rest of the storm in darkness.

I love brunch, don’t you? My brunch usually ends up consisting mainly of breakfast foods, rather than lunch foods, though. I wonder when I’ll have brunch next.
