She wanted to adopt me, I think. I had a mother, what I needed was a friend. I kept saying this over and over, telling my friends that she drove me crazy. Really, though, I was lucky to have her. My own mother is nothing good, she’s been a horrible influence on me all my life. Markus wasn’t used to dirt walls. Every so often, when he was passing through their quarters, he would brush against the living room wall, and make a face when dirt would sprinkle into his hair.
“Will I ever get used to this?” He murmured to Falon, brushing dirt from the shoulder of his shirt. Falon smiled cheerfully at his husband over his teacup.

She sat in a chair in the corner of the coffee shop, methodically reattaching the sleeve that had been ripped from her shirt during the last skirmish with her boyfriend. Kevin didn’t have a magic wand and couldn’t turn back time to one when he hadn’t screwed up on the bridge again, but he’d have used it if he could. He supposed, in retrospect, that the singing during his shift had been the problem, and disturbed everyone, and that really, the chaos he had caused down in engineering when he’d burst in looking for the still was part of the problem.Posted By Sar On 03.13.2011 @ 5:36 pm
one day i arrived at the airport and i was extremely excited because in about 2 hours, I would arrive in Boston. I knew that my aunts, uncles, and cousins would be there and I was very excited to see them again. Also, I knew that my aunt was bringing her new puppy, Baci, to Boston.
