dysfunctional

Our whole relationship is dysfunctional. Not a specific ‘our’, but a relative statement. Every single relationship formed between two people is always dysfunctional at some level. Whether that level be a high one or a very small one, it’s there. Because everyone has baggage, and with baggage comes at least a little dysfunction.

headphones

headphones are used for listening music, they are small and they can fit your ear perfectly. they can isolate you from the outer world so you can enjoy the music. i have purple headphones,I mean I used to. my mom is against headphones, but i still use them, especially when I’m going somewhere alone.

side

On one side of it, everything looks okay. But on the other side, everything’s dark and grey. I’m afraid. I’m afraid that the side I’ll show you is dark and grey. That you’ll turn me away, since I don’t look okay. What will I do if that was the case?

With you, by my side, there is nothing I can think of, not one place in the world to visit, not one experience to be had, that I believe is impossible. You, by my side, I am invincible. Please, stay by my side.

i need you by my side, forever and ever. when you are away i will be lonely, sad, and incomplete. i will cry and cry, and no one will be able to console me. it is impossible to fathom any misery but your own.

I want this more than anything. Ever since I could remember, the idea has been blasted into my conscious mind, and gently laid into my subconscious

concept

A concept is an idea, a thought – anything. You can have a concept of a concept, a conceptual thought about a concept. I don’t really know where the word comes from, but it’s interesting. A noun. Maybe I’m taking this too literally and actually writing about the word, instead of what the word makes me think about. But what the word makes me think about is the word itself. I have a concept of writing and how it should take place, and this isn’t exactly fulfilling that concept. Is concept the noun form of ‘conceive?’ We conceive children and we talk about the date of ‘conception’…does that mean that children and babies are only concepts in our mind? This thing says ‘Time’s up’ but it still let me write.

trap

It’s a trap. In every horror movie ever. They always split up. Why would that happen. people in movies are fucking idiots. It all depends on the director though.

losses

I lost the game. The game where every time you think of the game you lose the game. You can’t win. If you know about it you lose. what a stupid thing. I bet David Bowie doesn’t play the game.

icing

I love to make cakes. But only if there’s good icing to go on it. Of course, good icing is hard to make. For example, I adore buttercream frosting. But its so hard to make I simply would rather make the cheap kind that only takes ten minutes. My mother thinks I’m lazy, but she’s basically a pro chef so she’s a little biased.

patrol

Ha, this is real funny. My dad still believes that I am a child and feels the need to put restrictions on me. For example, putting me under house arrest and watching me like patrol officer. I know he’s doing this to protect me, but i need to make my own mistakes to get something out of it.

sonar

Sonar was a girl whose name felt solar and boyish like a son. But she worked it. She wore plaid skirts and ribbons in her hair. Two braids. One was the evil twin to the other. But she worked it.

sonar communications in the deep; whale to whale to dolphin to maybe a seagoing rabbit or two. Platypuses, for their part, have a sixth sense–reading electrical signals from prey and perhaps other creatures. Cool, ain’t it–just learned that today.

bandages

I wore a bandage when I got a cut in the second grade. It made a kid throw up. You know, seeing my cut, not the fact that I was wearing a bandage. Sometimes, bandages make me queasy though. The way they seem to magnetize and collect all of the surrounding dirt in the air. But sometimes, it’s just too much effort to make self-filtering bandages.

bucket

rain drops fall into the bucket, making subtle, soft noises as they clash against the rusting bowl, holding them in, storing them, slowly rising to a puddle of beauty. the cold refreshing, raw taste of rain swirling around in circles, slowly, beautifully.
