gasoline
The flames erupted into the night, burning pillars reaching to the sky. From a distance I threw another filled gas can on the blaze, and ran, ran without stopping. Hopefully no trace of the body could survive that inferno.

woven
It was simple, elegant, and covered her from shoulder to ankle, hugging every curve and contour of her body along the way. Woven from heavenly silk, she walked into the room, looking every bit the goddess that she was…

wander
I knew the dream had started, and I began traversing the twisted, mirror-like halls of my own fractured subconscious. I was afraid, unsure what I would find, uncertain what dark horrors I would conjure to combat myself. I wondered if Odysseus or Magellan, or Armstrong felt this way when they embarked on their own journeys. In any case, it was too late to turn back.

bee
It felt good, to lash out like that, at least, at first it did. I felt smug, powerful, on top of the world. But slowly it began to eat at me, the guilt, the feeling that I had done something wrong, that I had gone too far. This must be what it feels like for a bee, I thought, after they’ve stung something, only to have their guts ripped out, fated to die a slow, agonizing death. It was awful, and I was dying inside.

It buzzed through my open window, and without a moments hesitation, started an orbit around my head. I tried to ignore it-Mama always said that if you try to swat a honeybee, it’ll just sting you, and then you get to find out if you’re allergic. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to finding out today.

fangs
sharp teeth, dracula, scary movies and wearwolves. I see blood dripping down the crease of a cheek. Snakes and venom. Devil. This is my first post…getting the hang of this deal.

proud
he was proud he had achieved such a feat. For a boy his age at was enough to astonish even the most profound fighter.
