wildflower
I love wildflowers. In Colorado, they scatter the mountains, adding polka dots of color to an otherwise drab hillside. My mother always picks a bundle and puts them in a glass of water to use as a table centerpiece. There’s a certain charm to that.

I like daisies but I don’t have a fondness for them because I like magnolias better. Daisies are not special! They are just ordinary! And normal, like roses! People should just buy sampaguita instead!

A caregiving has to learn to shift priorities. It’s one of the toughest challenges I’ve experienced. It can cause stress, but it’s the only way to survive long term caregiving.

Today I was walking through the mist after a storm. It was a cool mist and it was dark outside. The crows were cawing and a squirrel scuttled across the street into the safety of a tree.

The mist falls over our eyes again and we crave some sort of new feeling from this life, but alas there is none. It’s just that same almost-wishing and that same almost-being and none of us can truly say we’ve lived, any more. Look at us, we’re just another pathetic excuse for a human being.

I am married and the mother of a darling boy. I sometimes pretend I’m not happy because I’m not comfortable with being happy. I can blame my mother but really it’s my own shit. I can be lazy and I can be selfish but generally I think I’m a kind and loving person. My husband loves me

A total waste of time….exercise that is supposed to take your mind off of your problems and vent that into meditation, etc. Rather spend that valuable time praying to the One and only God our Father who can change things.

not possible. I have had a disease for years now that causes infertility. Its a curable disease, i just can’t afford medical care.
