wanting

I want everything. I can get everything, but there’s always more that I’d like. Because that’s how people work. Don’t bother wanting after anything, because no matter what you get, you will always want more. That’s just how life works.

asking

asking is the process of inquiring about something. it is the art of learning about something. by asking we obtain information that was not previously know to us. asking can require a lot of self courage. sometimes asking is not the popular thing to do. those who ask are sometimes seen as weak. i think that asking is the key to knowledge and education. we need to ask to survive and grow.

I’m not asking for anything. I am content with what I have. In spite of what some may think, I don’t want anymore. Still, thanks for asking!

village

The village had lasted for many years, teetering on the edge of civilization. This provided that last bastion of humanity for many adventurers and travelers destined for parts unknown. That is how it got the name, Edgiana.

i used to work at a store called village health market. it was a health food store, lots of strange people shopping there. it was a good job, flexible, the people there were nice, but incredibly dull at times. after a few months i couldnt take it anymore and had to quit a few weeks early.

They say the world is a village. It takes a village to raise a child. Who then raised those in the village?

Coal…I’m going to be DIAMOND some day if I don’t end up in someone’s furnace before hand or turn on the lights.

proud

The proud. The few, the marry marchers making risks everyday. The proud. The brave, the gallant souls who always take the blame. Take pride in what they call you, be it insult or injury name. The proud will mark your soul with flame and blind the taint away.

its good to be proud sometime. its not good to be proud all the time. proud is important.

brick

The bricks and mortar of the house were collapsing. Everything was collapsing. The plants had seeped into the building and had cracked the once

Used mainly in the construction industry the brick has taken many different forms throughout history, from simple blocks of to stone to the modern brick we see today.

throw

This is something I need to do. I need to go through my things and throw away alot of the stuff I really don’t need or haven’t used in a while. It is now just clutter.

Posted By Tom On 09.04.2008 @ 4:31 am

i like to throw things they hit things and that makes me satisfied. one some respects throwing things is almost like throwing away your feelings, pent up emotions released witht he swing of your arm and the clang of impact as your chosen missile impacts.

daisy

daisy daisy, give me your answer do. I sang it to her as she got changed, I sang it to her as she headed out the door to work, I sang it when she came back from work in the evening, and throughout the evening. I sang it with a smile in my heart and on my face, and I meant every word of it.

Eventually, she turned round and said ‘you remember that concussion? Daisy was your last girlfriend, not me’ and left me.

few

few people ever see the dreaded Estonian warbling pig and live to tell the tale. It can eat a man’s head in seconds flat, and has the largest teeth-to-brain-cell ratio of any animal in europe, which given its brain is the size of a small horse, is rather impressive…

divide

First thing I thought of was a wet, sweet vagina. I am a terrible person. I guess I could have lied and said something about a civil war or even fault lines in tectonic plates…. i could have.

wade

Wade out into the water and you can feel the eels, writhing in the mud. they thrash and they bash against each other, frenzied in the act of coitus, frantic to bond and to make more of their slimy bretheren. Look what evolution has created- the bare desire to procreate, in violent and chaotic fashion, any way at all as long as more eels are made.

It’s all quite unpleasant.

tale

the tale you told doesn’t bear up to scrutiny, madam. no seventeen year-old girl needs that amount of mayonnaise for a ‘really big tuna sandwich.’ no-one does.

And why did those people at your party look so shocked?

Sometimes I wonder where I went wrong as a parent…

stable

Stable. Hah. I wish I was. This operation’s gone to shit. Medical or military – easy question to answer for most, but for me, right now, there’s no way. Tiny scalpels are barraging my brain, cutting through fields of neurons and reducing me to something less stable than I’d ever imagined I would become.

cupcake

Cupcakes are small treats that in Ireland we would call queen cakes or fairycakes. This use of words, queen and fairy, highlights the differences that exist between the US and Europe in the use of language and the misunderstandings that can result from these differences.

trail

A trail, goddamn I have no idea right now because I simply cannot remember what it means since I am german and, yes that’s about that and because I have no time to think of what I write or to think about anything I think I just lost my words so I quit here and instead of going on writing about nothing.

grace

Grace under pressure is the most important thing to learn. if you can keep your head whilst those about those are losing theirs, and such and whatnot.

Nonsense.

What really marks one out as an adult is the ability to have an extended and well-directed tantrum. oh yeah.

That’s what she seemed to think, anyway. over everything. the dishes being cleaned slightly wrong, a sock on the floor, me spending a weekend away somewhere with friends I hadn’t seen in months. And eventually, I’d had enough.

I don’t think she saw it coming. Silly cow.

Along the river, you can find grace. Everywhere, even in the old rotting logs that float away from the banks, there is grace. In the sand between the toads. In the ripples that form the water roads: grace. And even after the river loads into the sea, you can see grace spreading; perforating.

masterpiece

My mother just told me that I could easily find a job no matter what masters program I do. She told me that I’d have no trouble because I’m personable, smart, and handsome. That’s a pretty nice thing to hear, even if it’s from your mother. Perhaps, especially if it’s from your mother. Maybe I’m her masterpiece.
