  1. unique, your own, imagination, creativity, music, pictures, paintings, photography, tree’s, nature, landscape, earth, everywheres, peace, so many different meanings in one. love. thoughts, expression, clarity, colors, texture, quality.

  2. The way his body moved, the way his soul was put into every shift, every spin, every count, was breathtaking. I was head over heels in love with someone who was out of my league, but had danced into my heart the second I saw him move. I couldn’t stop thinking about him, how his grace and his charm had won me over once again. How I couldn’t believe that he was giving me a second chance after what had happened. How I was going to take a leap of faith, in all hopes he would catch me. How I was dancing, alongside him, something that I thought impossible. How I could be incredibly stupid, putting my heart back into his hands again. How I hoped he wouldn’t break it.

  3. I love arts, I think the art is the way of humans to be humans, to communicate their feelings without having to actually /say/ them. Like, it’s amazing how millions of persons can feel different things reading the same sentence of a book {Harry Potter in my mind right now} and been in different places at the same time.

    by Yui8_lin on 11.13.2012
  4. the arts are a dying language, a whimpering form of communication. it’s words only sometimes but its that expressive method of conveying ideas, notions, the images in your head to someone else, someone outside yourself that is dying… and will you revive it? will you breathe color back into that black and white landscape that still rolls and falls away in a dangerously breathtaking jagged cliff that asks you to jump and revel in a riot of hues and vibrancy?

  5. He was an art of many arts as the other man took photo after photo of him, sideways, upside down, leaning against a wall, smiling, not smiling, smirking, with tears running down his face, pumping his fist in the air. Soon, there would be a time when Xander couldn’t pose for Adam, but it would be in a while…

  6. arts. the finest. who the fuck doesn’t like art? I know I do. Even businessmen. Though I’m sure some are arrogant pricks about it and only like “this kind of art” he says while sticking his nose high in the air and imagining the world without blacks, gays, and women. Oh that would be interesting. I sure as fuck wouldn’t be here. As I am the latter half of that sentence. And gay. Maybe that’s a little too feminist? Who cares. Fuck Mitt Romney, and his apparent ability to get some republican states to try and secede. Do they really want another civil war?

  7. hiç bir şey yazamaz hale getirdi bu laf. çünkü çok afilli. ben sanatçı mıyım bir de bu nokta var tartışılması gereken. önemli bir konu. o sınırda neler oluyor

  8. The arts are an integral part of the human condition.

    The schools tearing it down.

The museums receiving funding and then losing it.

Where is humanity’s interest in the arts?

It has to be out there somewhere

But we live in an information age.

Can an information age live without the arts?

Can our computers and devices live without being informed of industrial design?

    The arts are integral.

    They are our life.

    They are our human condition.

    Value them well.

  9. everything i look at and absorb is the arts… from the sky to the brown rich dirt… and then someone comes along with a paintbrush and changes everything.. sometimes i think my street has changed direction and i am the only one who notices…

  10. The arts are the most beautiful form of speech out there. when speech fails, there is always a melody which perfectly reflects the beuaty or sadness in life. there are few things in the world which transcend both geography, time, culture, and language. the arts are on of these things.

  12. If there is a reason to breathe.
If there is a reason to keep going
If there is a reason to be alive.

    Maybe there’s just no reason.

    That is the arts.

  13. The arts create lives. They allow people to know every aspect of themselves. It makes you. There’s a voice you only know when you are around the arts.

  16. The arts are not limited to physical artwork. There is dance and theater. Life is part of the arts. There are different dances and soundtracks and pictures. The arts encompass beauty. They express the inexpressible. If I could choose a talent other than those I have, I would choose one in the arts. Beauty.

  17. The arts are a beautiful thing, not just aesthetically but also historically. Some of our greatest understandings of human history and human stories and human emotions come from the art of that time period. Through subtle uses of color, texture, perspective, and more, we can tell how people were feeling and thinking. We can tell who they were.

    by Addie on 11.13.2012
  18. Arts are a gimmick. A hoax. Union Square is full of individuals who pose as artists. There is no need for education anymore. All one has to do is speak their mind in any way possible and justify their action as a work of artist. Or just move to Williamsburg and stop taking showers.

  24. Arts no longer has a meaning. It is only used as a term to describe expression, sometimes technique, sometimes both. Both is now rare. Not everyone can appreciate the arts. Most people just put an F in front of it and change it into farts. I`m in the arts and apparently I have no future. But money doesn`t equal success.

Hope that there are topaz skittles drizzle the surface of continuity and that comfort reverently waiting for all of us on the other side.
