I hadn’t a clue how to work this machine. So I matched color to color and hoped for the best. To my surprise, that logic worked! But to my dismay, it turned the machine’s self-destruct mode. Shit! I had an hour to retrieve what I needed from this contraption.
The auxiliary seemed to look suspicious, almost as if he knew something. I followed him discreetly through grimy walls and dirty floors, moving ever so slowly. He turned a corner, and I hurriedly caught up with him. As I reached the end, I caught just a glimmer of black appear -and disappear quickly.
He seemed to be dragging something behind him.
Curious, I reached the door, but I stopped dead-on as I heard screams echo inside the room.
