  1. Haruhi hated herself for the belief. She had grown up completely independent, not relying on anyone. The Host Club had trouble understanding that she was no Cinderella; and the memory of Okinawa was particularly harrowing for her.
    She hadn’t depended on anyone then, and she shouldn’t need to now. But if that was the case, why did she know he would come to comfort her as soon as he heard there were thunderstorms in the forecast.

  3. Rosie and Hermione were the last girls that Suzanne would have believed would want to be her friends, but she was anxious for any kind of friends, so she gladly took them at their word. After all, they were probably nice girls–Rosie was short and stout, and Hermione had a name that would make any grade schooler laugh. These were not the typical popular girls. And yet…they somehow were. Suzanne never saw it coming.

  5. His words were curvy, and spilled over the edges of the paper. I loved his words, I could feel their taste in my mouth; it was bitter, but in a good way. They gave me the firm belief that everything would be alright in the end, they spelled out hopeful.

  7. i believe in love and its one of the strongest things you can find. Appreciate it and thow yourself into it, you can believe in so many things and dont stop cuz its dumb to believe in.! its wonderful to believe in something and its what defines us as individuals. You can believe in God, budha and so on. the important is that you DO BELIEVE.

  9. i think i believe that one day ill be very happy i think that believing is something that we need to do these days , believe in everything and if they fail , youll stand up and and then fall after fall finally believe in someone or something that wont ever let you down. you need to believe forever . because it will be so dissapointing to stop believing when you can plainly be happy with someone you can always believe in

  10. My belief in the unity of nature and our existence hasn’t been challenged lately. Maybe it’s because others are finally coming to believe that the natural world plays an integral role in our everyday survival and emotional stability. Maybe it’s just because the people I talk to are getting older. Just like me.

  11. What do you believe? How do you know? Does it comfort you? Does it bring you closer to others or cause you to feel separate? Do you believe in an after life? Is it a warm place? Is it better than here? If not, what do you believe happens after we die?

  12. If I can find out what I believe, I can find the answer to my dilemmas. Everything boils down to what you believe. The problem is so many don’t know what they belief or they are not ready to examine their beliefs. If I know what the principal at issue is, I can find my way around to the solution.

I think I’ll stick with my belief in santa, my belief in the possibility of goodness, my belief in the power of kindness, my belief in myself. So go ahead, tell me I’m a pinko-liberal-commie. I believe you feel that way.

  18. Belief is the essence of life. To believe in something is to have hope. It doesn’t have to be God, per se, as I do not believe in God, but I have faith. I believe that life is as it should be and things will work out in the end.

  21. An interesting word, ‘belief.’ If you say that it is your belief that something is true or false, right or wrong, good or bad, how can one dispute it? Very different if you were to say this is true or false – it opens an argument. Not so, when you believe in something.

  22. i have a lot of beliefs. I believe in laughing, and crying, and being a good person. And i also believe that it is my job to make a difference. Especially with my environmental science class, and eeverything that i am learning. I believe that it is my duty to find out how i can help spread the message that we really need to protect our environment and things need to change if we want to continue living.

    Believe in yourself. Trust your teachers. Listen to your heart. Believe in Santa. Have faith in those around you. Believe.

    Sometimes I think a little bit of critical thinking wouldn’t go astray.

  33. What do I believe in? I’m not sure.
    I think I believe in a lot of things. But I hate labelling it. It’s not important that someone knows me by my beliefs. It’s important for someone to know me for what I do not what I say.
    Just belief in good.

  37. belief is stronger than the we as a arace will ever understand BUT understanding is the key to it all. if we can understand we can start to better ourselves, if you dont understand something and try to work with it it can be dangerous in any situation or with anything. the world is falling apart and we blame governments because we dont have any money? yes we need food, water and heat but we arent going to get everyone their fair share if we dont understand what the actual problem is.
