not a set of propositions stated on a page
not a differing view… a piont of violence and rage
just pointing towards things that can not be expressed
faith…not belief pulls me in…draws me near

i think that beliefs are important when shaping ones self. Without beliefs you cannot make choices based upon how you feel. They are like morals, and to be a good person in my opinion and too make good choices you have to stick to your beliefs and morals.

She realizes after countless failed attempts and fruitless efforts that all you really need to have to get where you want to get and do what you want to do is unwavering belief in yourself. Believe it or, it’s one of the most difficult things to come by.

i believe in god. many people do. many people don’t. my brother doesn’t. and if he were typing right now he’d right soo much stuff abot belief. but too bad i don’t have much to say. i just believe in god. that’s it. i don’t go to church on a daily basis but i do love god. a lot.

to me belief is more like “beliebe” (The verb!) because i’m a belieber and i beliebe in Justin Bieber. He’s my hero, my inspiration. The one I think about when I go to sleep and the one who makes me smile when i wake up. So…yeah that’s pretty much it. I don’t even know why i’m writting this. lol what a waste of my time.

belief is not the same as reality. it is some sort of overlap of emotion and the physical world. at one point or another, some event triggers us to stumble upon a belief, and from there on out, it holds us, superglues

faith, the most difficult thing to understand. the most simple thought. the most fulfilling experience.
By Margaret H. URL on 06.18.2011
religion, something that i feel strongly about or that i follow. to have belief is to think that an opinion or yours is right or correct regardless of what others think. it is an idea or thought that is supposed to come natural to you. something that you are born with and that you feel strongly about.

My belief was shaken after reading Job. How could God do something so (I struggled to say the word) cruel? The loving father I had been taught to respect seemed no more than a tyrant playing chess with the devil.

She believed in cheeses, all kinds. For salads, she believed in gorgonzola, a faith that also involved walnuts and dried cranberries. For crackers, her truth lay with sharp cheddar.

The belief in gods was a curious thing, tam thought. There was always an excuse, always a reason. Always some way that the god came out on top. It was never His fault, it was always humans’. Must have been a great job.
Which was why he was surprised, when he became one, that it was not. On the whole, he decided he’d rather go golfing.

belief in god, in perfection, in idealism, in symmetry, in flawlessness, in beauty, in love, in peace, in each other, in yourself, in the idea of tomorrow’s amnesia.

Is is strong? Maybe. Yes? Or no. Where will it take you? How will it affect you? Will it help or hinder? Make strong, or weaken? But is that the belief… or you?

His belief was simple: everyone loved him. No matter what he did, he knew girls would follow him and guys would long to be him. However, he never thought he’d want to be anyone else, never thought he’d want to change, until he met Autumn.

I hate religion, for the reason that it encourages people to believe in something that isn’t provable or plausible. I’d rather be surrounded by facts than comforting lies. I don’t understand religions like Christianity because of this.
By Clark on 06.18.2011
The important thing for magic is not to believe, but to know. To know for a fact, deep-down-hard-headed-know-in-your-gut that this cup, for instance, will turn into a small slice of cheese. That you’re really a walrus, and that you should therefore look like one. That the cat in front of you is a man in disguise.
If you can get the knowing down, you’re more than halfway there.

Belief in a higher power/afterlife has always been something I’ve had a hard time comprehending. For me, without concrete proof, I can’t believe in anything. I don’t like that some religions promote comforting lies over facts.

I believe in the zodiac. I believe in God. Does that make me a hypocrite? No, that makes me like Bo Burnham. Speaking of Bo Burnham, isn’t it I-R-O-N-I-C, that I missed the letter C in the word ironic. Its not ironic, its just sad. And I just realized, I don’t do good under pressure.

Oh, I already answered about this. It really just depends on what you’re talking about. My belief on politics. My belief on my religion. I don’t really have a belief on anything. We all either die and go to heaven or hell. Simple.

Aku kehilangan kepercayaanku padanya. Sudah. Cukup. Semuanya membuatku terlihat bodoh. Dari dulu aku terus saja mau dibohonginya. Mungkin, terkadang aku sadar dibohongi, Tapi tetap saja tak mau mengelak. Tak mau menerima kenyataan.

My beliefs are always wobbly. There are times where I’m certain, but I often change my mind… Back and forth, back to back, and further back from where I started.

I finally started believing in going my own way. I needed things to hit me and roll off as easily as droplets of water. I didn’t want anything to hurt, and I didn’t want to care. I wanted to run off with a smile on my face because no one’s affairs mattered to me, simply because I was me. And I was alive.

I like to believe everything because say. I know i shouldn’t but it is part of my beliefs to think that everyone is telling the truth. I trust people way too easily but I guess thats because I believe that since I am telling the truth, so are others- which is not always true.

There is you and there is me, the only belief I have is that this is the way things will stay forever. Perfect, in this little snow globe life, pieces falling as they may. Barriers never broken or shattered. Eternal continuity.

Without belief we cannot live in this world. it is dangerous to believe all. but it is dangerous not to believe anybody.Self confidence is the first step for a strong belief. if we dont have belief in ourselves we cannot achieve anything in our life. The net thing is, the world has seen many impossible things done only by a strong belief that it can be done. if you dont have belief to do it, Somebody is going to achieve the same thing.
By Thangavel Raj on 06.18.2011
this is something that you know deep down is true, you feel it’s true, you know it’s true. it is fact in your soul. belief means that its yours and no one elses, it’s a completely original thing that you cling too. someone else may cling to it to, but then it’s theirs and your belief is still yours
By Brea on 06.18.2011
belief: god, answers, everything thrown into an idea that one puts faith on. belief: believing in the thought of ourselves, of our own being. everything we think and know

I belief in the fact that unicorns and ponies, and dolphins and mermaids exist. belief is a wonderful thing, intertwined with imagination, yet totally opposite. beliefs are what make us. the belief of god can cause separation, but the belief that we are all equal causes unity.

His belief in the plan was the only thing that allowed him to persevere despite the set backs, despite the harm the experiment was doing to the test subjects. He believed, no he knew, that it was the right course, that after the trails were done, they would have a workable vaccine. They had to, time was running out.

What comes to my mind a whole lot more is God. Belief. Faith. It is completely about believing and without belief, God is nothing. God is Love and I believe in love. I believe in God.

Belief is founded in an inability to prove what may or may not exist. It is possible for beliefs to eventually be proven fact or fiction. Beliefs are a fundamental part of the human condition, although it is unlikely belief is shared by nonsentient entities. Beliefs act to explain the unexplainable and provide a sense of control over the existing world which is fundamentally beyond our control.
