  1. Beloved. Adored. Placed on a pedestal. Locked inside one’s own personal cage of perfection, never being truly allowed to be free. Admired. Idolized. Made to be holy when in reality, one cannot fall farther from grace than God’s “beloved”.

A subtle smile appears upon my lips and my heart pounds heavier and faster. I never want to leave this place.

I was talking to one of my best friends today and he said “its pointless as hell. just a waste of money.” I’m totally against that, its a celebration of love, and certifying your willingness to stay with your significant other. I just really wanna find that other.

  28. Beloved reminds me of the Toni Morrison book. I haven’t read it myself, but I’ve heard that it’s about an African American woman whose child died. I think that that is horribly sad and intend on reading that book. Also, the word beloved reminds me of my close friends and family, which is always a good thing. My brother, aka my best friend, will be undergoing intensive knee surgery tomorrow. I am scared for him. I suppose that surgery is a good thing, though, that this will help him. Isn’t my sixty seconds up now?

  36. You look at me like I’m an information pirate…like my thoughts are not my own, just because I use a few words that have already been spoken by your beloved artists, musicians and authors. I cannot help that I have been shaped and formed by what I’ve been exposed to. I am a product of my culture. Though my voice has been shaped by what I’ve seen, I shape my thoughts through the funnel of my own mind. Even the first creator used prexisting matter to build his world.

  37. He was the beloved me me, my one true love. One that I saw from afar, with her. My nemesis, the one he chose over me. It is pain, utter pain, to see them happy with their children. Hopefully my happily ever after will come, but what man can stand up to him? What man can compete with him?
