  13. Have you ever met that one person that you click with instantly, and you’re so excited about it and everything seems so perfect and lovely that you just want to basque in their glory forever? And then you tell your friends about them, or anyone who will listen really, and they say “beware”. “don’t go there, they’ll only hurt you” “we know” “trust us”. At the time I thought, and why should I? Why should I be careful. They’ve changed. They’re a different person. They’re not the person you knew. I let myself get attached and only ended up being hurt and alone. I should have heeded their warning and stayed clear.

It is a wonder that you step out into the world and come home alive because so much of your life is put up to chance. why wont the car at the light hit you when they accidentally swerve? maybe because you stepped away just in time or that second you took to look in the mirror saved your life but you need to always BEWARE.

    The street was lined with rickety, peeling houses. Chain link fences rattled and groaned in the winter wind, and an open gate bearing the sign WARNING: BEWARE OF DOG creaked restlessly on its hinges. We had never been through this side of town before. Especially not at night.

  28. There was once a man who was always sitting alone in the park. Every day I would walk by him and see him just sitting there. It was like he was waiting for someone who would never come. The man did not seem to have a purpose however. He was just there. However a peculiar thing happened that Saturday evening. It was something that stood out in my mind completely. As I was walking by the park I noticed, carved in a bench, the word “beware”. I then realized that this was the same bench that the man usually sat on and that he was not there.
