  1. It’s amazing how we just come. And that’s it. And no matter what happens to us, we will still be here. And no matter how much we learn, we will always be the same to some extent. Isn’t it beautiful?

  7. An unfamiliar blackness covered the empty space, creating a new definition for darkness that the human brain could no way near comprehend in it’s enitirety. However, somewhere amidst the blank darkness, there resided a tiny light; a light that appeared to be no bigger than an eye of a needle, but in fact was bigger than any world humanity would ever come across. The light, without any warning what so ever exploded into a vast and ineffable rainbow, giving birth to new colours and patterns of light that no eye would ever to blessed enough to see again. This was the beggining. This was the big bang.

She despised that. She hated how this baby was the reason she had quit school. She silently told herself that she would go to the orphanage and drop him off when she gets out.

  18. birth is just like death. or rather the end of death. people always ask what it’s like to be dead? you’ve been dead for 6 billion years. birth was the end of that. birth’s the end of death. but the beginning of the road to death at the same time. you’ve never been older than you are now.

  19. how lovely to have a child; such a wonderful gift to cherish. And it’s not the child of humans, but also the birth of a “child” of animals, it is also a miracle, a moment of joy and pure happiness. The ultimate purity comes with birth…

  20. babies. baby aythings really. just babies. the idea of new life every few seconds is a pretty good one. unless, of course, you’re Chinese. then you’re not allowed to have more than one. and in that case, thinking about birth is probably not the best idea.
the Chinese pop them out faster than anything i’ve ever seen.

  21. Birth is the most wonderful thing that happens every minute in the world. Just a while ago a friend of mine told me that he and his wife will give birth to a little one. It made me smile. But two days ago he wrote an Email to me and told me about all the things that happend to him and his little family. The little girl was born far too early somewhere between fith and sixth month. She only weighed 635g and need to be specially treated in the hospital. It needed a heart surgery and many other things to help her to stay on earth. But at the time she is just fine but noone knows if she’ll be strong enough to make it through. I do hope so, My thoughts are with her and her parents.
Birth – the most wonderful thing that happened to every single one of us and hopefully to many more people. If you have a spare minute just think of your loved ones and try to imagine what the world would be if noone gave birth to them.

  29. Begin from conception, that’s a good way to go. A bottle of blossom hill zinfandel and nothing good on tv. On an old sheepskin rug with yellow stains, that were either there before, came in the ensuing childhood, or arrived at that very moment. That fiery, balls to the wall hella awesome moment. I love my little life.

It was the birth of a new day – every morning the same she would step outside of her teepee at the crack of dawn and watch the miracle of birth before her eyes as the faded light grew stronger and the bursting of a new day happened. 39. It wasn’t how she had planned this momentous day. The birth of her first child had been scheduled down to the finest detail – the hospital, the music she would listen to as this precious new life emerged blinking and wailing into the world. The smooth-skinned young doctor had leaned over her: ‘Ms Brown? Your baby is showing signs of distress now, we would like to perform a caesarian section’. This wasn’t how it was supposed to be at all!
