  1. This brings two things to mind. The pink feather boas that were used for dress up when I was little. And the song about being eaten by a snake. They aren’t very related are they? One’s a snake, which is eating people, the other an accessory for a child’s play.

  2. Boa…I’m not quite sure what that means. Doeit mean a snake? or something else?

  3. That little girl loved her feather boa. It was long and fluffy, white feathers soft as silk jutting out from it. It was dirty from all the times she’d dragged it around with her, and the feathers were starting to fall off, but she loved it just the same.

  4. I DON’T CARE ABOUT BOA, BOA IS A JERK HE PICKS ON ME DURING CLASS AND GIVES ME WEDGIES AND SWIRLIES AND ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT MY MOTHER AS IF SHE WAS A PROSTITUTE. I WISH THAT BOA WOULD JUST GET HIT BY A TRAIN, FALL OFF A BRIDGE, GET BIT BY A SHARK, CRAWL ONTO SHORE AND GET HIS LIMBS EATEN BY TIGERS AND THEN BLEED TO DEATH.

  6. I got a boa constrictor named Jack. He likes to wrap himself around my arm, which my mom tells me is incredibly dangerous. It probably is. He might kill me someday. Sometimes I wonder about him when he squeezes my arm a little too tight. But I’m sure it’ll be fine. If not…ARGGH!

  7. She felt the fear consume her as the snake slithered into the room. Did it smell her fear? Would it eat her- or choke her? Oh, she hoped not. She hoped to go in a much different way than that.

  8. …Constricter. That’s what I think of anyway, I saw a picture of a pink snake today. I’ve never been a snake lover but a PINK snake, that is just too cute. I’m more of a lizard person to be honest, unfortunately none of my family particularly enjoy the company of reptiles.

  9. It was ironic: I stood in the vestibule of the bank of america cash machines with a feathered stole around my neck, when a snake of enormous size slithered through a crack in the door. Yes, wearing a boa in boa I saw a boa. What a day!

  10. Once upon a time there was a magical boa named Charice. Charice was purple and brown and blue, but her parents were green and yellow. So was everyone else. Charice was basically the Rudolph of the snake family. Nobody let her play boa games, like feather-yourself-and-get-draped-around-a-neck.

  20. I have many distant memories with very little evidence that they happen. I sometimes I have to wonder if they really happened, or if it’s something that I dreamed of, if it’s something that was said to someone else. They deteriorate over time, like this feather boa.. they get everywhere, in pieces, and when I breathe I choke on them.

  21. Constrictor, constricted, snake-neck choo choo. Pink feathers adorning fake smiles and fake sex. The real sex slithers from below like a not-fake snake slate skate bait.

  22. The boa languishingly draped across her neck. She wore it like it was a part of her. It didn’t just hang lifeless. And coupled with the red framed sunglasses, it presented an interesting image… And it was disturbing. Very disturbing.

The snake slithered around her neck. It didn’t just hang there lifeless.

  35. Boa is a constricted word with two many vowels. It sounds like the name of a country or the unisex child of a forward-thinking modern couple. A boa constrictor was the subject of my favorite children’s book – whose name I forgot. Isn’t it the worst when your childhood is summed up in half-baked memories and the feeling of something beautiful lost?
