Now there is a prevalent push into the realm of faster than light technology that will hopefully one day take us to new reaches of the solar system, galaxy, and even universe! With the thought of losing to him hanging over me, I let out one last boost of speed, to edge him out only inches past the finish line.
A boost… something short people need to see over the table. My sister actually needs to sit on phone books to see when she drives. Is that illegal? Well, it’s going to be hard for her to find phone books now anyway, so maybe she can stack up some old computers or something.
