You were calling me everyday, asking how I was. I was calling myself good and well and doing alright and you were repeating those words back to me. Remember when we used to talk about things that weren’t ourselves, or were ourselves, but not those distant ideas of ourselves that we stick adjectives to now, on the phone, when you call?

I hate hearing the voices calling out in the evening. Everyone’s mother is standing on the back porch, shouting for them to come home. I loath their togetherness, their happy family structure. I swear no one will ever call out to me like that.

This lady keeps calling my phone asking for some guy named “Fausto” and I keep telling her it’s the wrong number. She keeps calling. Ugh. I usually write something meaningful, but I just don’t feel like it today. I’m seeing an alpaca today. That is all. :)
