The champagne was flat and not at all what I expected, just like this evening. I had dreamed of being alone with him, spending time with just one each other but now that we were together I could tell he wasn’t really there. He was drifting. He never wanted me.
I have one last bottle of champagne, and if I were to share it with anyone in the world, it’d be you…And we’d sit on our couch and laugh. And you’d tell one of your stories and I’d smile. We’d slow dance in our room like we used to and I’d hold you tighter as you pull me closer. And for a moment…we’d be happy again. I swear love, we could be happy again.
there was no need for champagne as the drunks were already merry. Instead we uncorked a bottle of the cheapest wine we had and took their money. They wouldn’t notice. They would come back in the morning asking what they did, and we respond that they were happy drunks. Who knows where those bruises came from.
i have yet to have my first sip of champagne. i am always reminded of the “so long farewell” song when i hear champagne and how liesl isn’t allowed any. one day i’ll be elegant.
“Champagne,” Donny thought, “champagne will get me into her pants.”
He poured a glass and she did not even acknowledge him.
“Chocolate. That’s a real panty dropper,” he grinned.
He slid a box of succulent Godiva dark chocolates across the table, which was getting crowded next to the flowers, the perfume and the diamond ring.
“Gosh darn it!” he exclaimed. “If I don’t get some good ol’ fashioned lovin’ by the end of this week, I’m returning this defective Real Doll™!”
It was New Years, and I was supposed to have a date to drink a glass of champagne with. Unfortunately, it seemed my taste in men was horrible and they were all notorious for standing me up last-minute. Instead of my handsome hero, I would be kissing my glass of champagne on New Years. How heart-breaking.
Champagne was flowing, and everywhere I looked, people were lost in the euphoria of partying; that feeling of ecstasy that you get that you can do whatever you want because you have an alcoholic beverage making it’s luxurious way through your system.
I popped the bottle open with one last wish to be alone. It came true. I drink this champagne without a soul to raise a glass with. I still toast to the world and keep my chin high knowing I sought out this solitude.

She smiles and drinks the champagne, along with him.
The next moment, the two of them collapse on the floor, causing the whole room to erupt in a panic.
You choose this moment to smile and sip the contents of your glass.

My friend recently told me a story about how she knew someone that went to a LMFAO concert. She was able to sneak into the afterparty, and she said that by the end of it she was literally soaked in Champagne. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have the champagne inside me.

To say they were excited was an understatement. Everyone was running towards the race track where the driver would be given his trophy. I stayed behind, knowing, that if I went, I would die. Just as surely, as everyone already out there would. What they didn’t know was that as they were racing to the track, the bomb would start to count down, and by the time the trophy was handed out, the time would have run out. Their time will have run out.
My mom would let me only have tiny sips of champange, it tasted gross to me, but every new years i would alway take that tiny sip, it made me feel older, like one of the adults, even though i have a loonnggg way till i am one

Next he’ll probably ask me to smoke with him and that is not going to happen. “you need to grow up!” my dad’s voice said to me. Earlier that day him and i had a fight.
