  1. Chorus is the place where you find yourself, and rainbow melodies float from eager throats at the hand of God. And, light forms from darkness and lights the way from ignorance. It makes you understand the movable objects inside of yourself.

  12. Ever year my part was in the chorus . I just melted into invisibility while the big names in the school sang solo or duo or triplecet or stood at the front of the stage . I returned to school every year thinking it ‘s invisible time again and it was . Endless hours rehearhals to be part of an unappreciated bunch of the mediocre . Just once I felt I really must be someone not just a just ok voice mingling in a group , who am I , if I’m nobody can I be somebody .. Most times it’s impossible for nobody to become somebody . They are so broken down into being kept down as nobodies they can never rise up .

  25. A chorus is a million voices singing in harmony. But it goes further than that, a chorus should be a metaphor for how we approach external situations. We need to speak in harmony. Though we have different pitches, we all must sing the same message and inspire and engage an audience to bring about change.

  27. A chorus of music. A chorus of birds singing.
    Poems, songs, music, art.
    Beautifully repetitive.
Voices, soft and light. Chirps, high and cheerful. Or low, calm.

  28. He used to sing in the chorus. He had a beautiful voice when he was a boy, but now as a grown man he had let his drinking and smoking ruin his God given vocal chords. But you could still hear the faint sound of his beautiful voice when he’d hum, and from his whistling you would know that his lungs were trained.

  33. A life full of sound. That’s all I wanted. I found the theater not because I was lonely, but because my ears were desolate, desperate even. The chorus fills them with sound, fills them with notes and voices and personalities. Because within each chorus are individuals, and those individuals keep my ears full of that much-needed noise.
