A lot of things come to my mind. nothing is as good as being comfortable in your house. Rain, movies, food, maybe a boyfriend. That’s really cool. Just being comfortable.
but its not just that, being comfortable with yourself is really important. If you are comfortable with yourself, everyone will be comfortable around you
I hated comfort. For years I had watched friends of mine be pampered by parents and family. It had made them weak. When the invasion finally came, they would stand no chance in the brutal horror of war. I, on the other hand, had been raised by wolves and couldn’t have developed into a stronger person.
In the strange comfort of the basement, she twiddled her thumbs and gazed up at the ceiling. It was strewn with chains and hooks on all of the outermost edges. She sighed deeply before beginning to ponder why she found comfort in this. A man’s scream echoed through the back of her mind before she focused back on her task at hand. Taking a deep breath, she put her protective mask back on.
Comfort is the lifeblood of the heart of home. It’s what we need the most, perhaps moreso than happiness… no, that isn’t true. You can live under a rock, but as long as you’re happy, what does comfort matter? Does happiness come from comfort?
comfort. my mom’s house right now. I feel like my brother is here even though he is gone. comfort. means feeling okay, feeling warmth where every where else it is cold. happy memories filled with fun times, smiles and my family.
a lot of people like to stay in their comfort zone and never leave. I don’t choose to live outside of comfort, but it humbles me so that I will appreciate the day when comfort comes.

There was snow on the ground. A warm mug of chocolate held in her hands, lightly, loosely, not forcefully or agitatedly or tensely. New flakes fell on an already white earth, the vast expanse of ground spread ahead of her, the clean glass almost like it wasn’t there. It was peaceful, this comfort of home.
I think comfort is in the little things. In being with people you like, doing things you like. It’s about feeling the right things when you do something. When something is completely right to you, like it’s your twin or sister. Like it’s family, something higher.
My gaze slipped from the man before me, he no longer bore any comfort. A cold breeze swept through my body. I winced and held my arms together, my teeth began to chatter as I spoke, “Go! I don’t need you anymore!”
A toasty towel just out of the drier on a chilly morning. A cup of tea and a good novel on a stormy afternoon. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a side of fresh corn. The one you love holding your hand when you are scared in a storm ….. comfort.
