  5. I find comfort in the most mysterious places. Sometimes, it’s laying at home with my cats, thinking about how simple life is without relationships–whether they be romantic or platonic. Nevertheless, I still find myself wondering, if it’s truly the fear of being hurt that numbs the loneliness.

All I thought about was home I needed something to hold, some form of comfort I could clutch with my own two hands and take deep breaths and feel like I was stable and standing still and not in love with someone with two violent hands.

  7. It bubbled for minutes and disrupted my sitting. Too many people were near by and it was impossible for me to ask all these people to move as I scoot down the long pew. I just tried to let it out as quiet as possible. I did. It wasn’t a success, but I felt comfort.

  17. I take a great deal of comfort in the fact that there is no one else here right now to make fun of the way I look. I walked past a mirror only moments ago and I realized that no one should look as good as I do in these tye dye long johns. Seriously, I should be fined for looking so fine! : )

  18. i feel comfortable when people make it that way. i need people to make me feel comfortable and make me feel important. without that dont. i am uncomfortable a lot of the time but try not to think about it because it makes me unhappy. I wish i was more comfortable in my own skin, but unfortunatly i am not. I am trying to change that but it is one of the ahrdest things ive ever done.

  19. she snuggled up with her orange cat named roark and her macbook and she’d type away on long grey afternoons that faded so quickly into nights, with the laptop propped up on her stomach and roark pawing at her socks (the old thick fleecy ones that she really should wash).

  20. Walking you to the bathroom, watching the baby when you shower, picking up McDonald’s with mom, sleeping over the hospital, comforting you when you were in labor. I didn’t do that cause you wanted me to, I did it cause you’re my sister and I love you and care enough to do those things for you.

    I crave this… Large soft plushy blankets and beds and seating that allow you to sink into them – without paying for it with a messed up back or neck later on!

    Comfort food… the smells… the tastes…

    Quiet… or at least sounds that relax me and don’t grate….

  30. i am not comfortable right now. i never said that i want to be comfortable. the discomfort drives me to work . i am already uncomfortable no my bubble has been popped.. i am free now.. the box has been opened and i can get something done. i can run through this discomfort and come out as victorious as i can.

  38. comfort is the way you feel when you are sitting in your grandmother’s kitchen and she is flipping over golden brown pancakes and the bacon is sizzling. She is singing under her breath and you are sitting there taking it all in. Comfort is something that is hard to come by when you get to be my age.
