Sitting in my living, i remembered a girl named Claire. she wasn’t really special or anything, but i always made fun of her dorky shoes in 1st grade. Now that im thirty, i thought i should give her a buzz and she what shes up to these days. Maybe even apologize.

i can connect to people in many different ways. For family it’s love, love connects us all and makes us act like one. I have different connections to different people in my life, and that is what makes each and every person in my life and my relationship to them unique.

Dr. Fudo and Rudger were both connected in a special way. The way that their views were – all connected by science. Dr. Fudo could feel the connection whenever they touched as well, the friction in their touches… the stillness of it all, so… connected.

I felt connected to him in a way that I had never felt before. Every inch of me was humming in time with every inch of him. I never knew that a human being could feel as I did when I was with him. There were no boundaries, nothing holding us back. There was simply him, me, and the sound of the rain on the tin roof of our trailer- our very first home.

Connected, could mean alot. Some take it as a relationship level or status, some take it as nothing, they think nothing of it. They don’t like being connected. Some like to be connected. Like to be apart of something.

phones, tv’s, computers, people are now communicating non-stop.

Connected. Things are connected. IKEA makes furniture out of parts that are connected. Some people say insightful things about us all being connected. Connected. We are all connected.

I love being connected. Internet, whatever. I like being in the loop, logged into the matrix and some might say. It feels good. I like feeling connected to other people. Think, act, know. Whatever. I don’t know what I’m talking about. This is kind of fun. Connected

the pain of parting was too much for her. She never wanted him to leave.
“but,” he told her, “as long as we are under the same sky we are always together. as long as we see the same sun, watch the same moon, and smile at the same stars, we’ll always be connected. besides,” he added.
He leaned forward and kissed her forehead ever so gently. “there is always next year”

Why do you insist on separating us, when we’re so connected? When we love each other so? When I would do anything for him? Why is it so hard for you to let us be together?
And why can’t you get over the fact that I’m a guy?

i feel connected to certain people in different ways. music can connect you to a person, a place, or a thing. with simple song lyrics. The memories music can connect you to are so vivid. The internet, as much as people don’t like to admit it, is a wonderful tool to connect. connecting with long lost friends via internet is incredible.

We are all connected. Be it through leaves of grass, as Walt Whitman might put it, or through our everyday relations. Perhaps we are connected through the very fabric of time. Whatever it may be, somehow, someway, we are connected. Undeniably, ineffably, connected.
By Connected on 04.06.2011
every person is connected by six other people. That’s what they say anyway. But really, is anyone connected to anyone? Aren’t we all innately selfish?

We are all connected… Ironically, even as the thought entered her head, she didn’t believe it. How could she possibly be connected to the stranger standing on the corner waiting for the light? She had never met him… He had never met her. They would never see one another except in that fleeting moment… And yet somehow, they were supposed to be connected. So many repeated “We are all connected” but honestly she couldn’t see the string of fate that held them together. The connection may exist but was contrary, fleeting, imaginary….

Every one is connecting so much easier now a days. We have facebook, cell phones (that send not only our voices but also letters,) we have email. Hell, we even have oneword to keep us connected to writing and literary nerds that make us seem less weird to ourselves. Humans weren’t made to be unconnected or alone. We’re meant to have relationships and connections. Without them, we’d shrivel up and be lost.

Go means action. or speed. or some sort of moving force. Go means to walk or run or make a physical movement with your body. To do something. To make a move. To…start. Go means to do something you either want to do or don’t.

people are connected, no matter how, either through blood, friendship, whatever it is. we can’t not talk to people and have some kind of relationship with them. it’s how we are. connections can happen anywhere anytime with anyone, we can’t help it. you make eye contact with someone and it’s a kind of connection. we’re all connected, whether we like it or not
By Harley Anderson on 04.06.2011
All things are connected. Each person, every thing every event. We live off of noticing these connections, acknowledging them. That is the key to our survival. To be connected to each other. We are all together.

to be with the people that you love and care about. knowing that what you are feeling will translate easily to others and that you can just “be” with that person. feeling comfortable to be who you really are and say what you really mean without feeling outed and just loving every minute of being with the next person.

when people are connected it gives an profound type of bond between them. There is nothing else. Nothing to hold you back. Nothing trying to tear you apart at the seams. You’re just, connected.

I like to think I’m connected to the world. I like to think I’m connected to people. But lately I’ve been thinking, and I have come to conclusion that the only thing I am really connected to is the fairy tales I want to live. My life is not good enough in comparison.

i have trouble being connected to myself. It’s more like i’m disconnected from everything that i am. I have been for a long time. Forget about who i am. Where i come from. What life experiences have made me who i am today. A puzzled blank. How do people fall into this phase? Does the phase ever end? It’s hard to determine when it’s hard to explain or difficult to realize.

When that moment happens, its almost instantaneous.
That connection that links you to another person in a more intimate way, that connection that is the beginning of a possible friendship, a possible lover.
And when you are finally connected, you’ll always be in some form or another linked to that person, as a part of your life that person will always be connected to you.

Connection. The world has certainly gotten connected recently with all of its technological break throughs. Twitter, facebook, cell phones. Is that really in our best interest though? Do you think we should be getting connecting with out neighbors? People around us? Learning real social skills then text ones? I think it is in our best interest to do so.

We are so unconnected these days. With advancing technology we just get out of it. The things that are suppose to make us closer are tearing us apart these days. Nothing like a hand written letter or a personal visit, just over computer or cell phones. We need to truly be connected again. But alas, there’s little we can do in these changing times. Nothing, in fact, will change this retched path we take. Let’s go backwards! Get connected. Write a letter, visit a friend. Hell, cancel your plans and just get back to it. Everything is so distant, whether you feel close or not, we separate ourselves through gigabytes. Make your own memories.

It was strange, living the way she did after everything had happened. She went to the same school, spoke to the same people, and continued on with the same lessons as she always did. But things were different. The connection she felt to her own life was no longer there.
Would she ever feel the same way again….? She couldn’t help but wonder that. Couldn’t help but know for a fact her life could never return to the way it was.
She didn’t think she wanted it to, anyway.

so I always wondered why my parents never showed up to any childhood experiences. now I see it more of: my dad’s an introvert. to the extent. and my moms connected. she knows people. she *always* travels out of town, and is actually in DC as we speak, getting connected with some big dogs up there. sometimes I wish my mom was the normal mom and showed up to all those things that were important to me at one time…
