i sat on the couch. it made me sad. so many memories. my grandfather who had sat on it years before, telling jokes and swearing to the chagrin of my mother. my friends all drinking discreetly from red cups, nervous that a parent would walk in at any moment and catch them.
the couch sat on the corner. worn. sad. depressing. as i watched from outside of the car, i saw the rain drip down from the sky, covering it and making it more worn down than it actually was. i turned
as we sat on the couch, i noticed that he had a bruise on his knee. “what’s that?” i asked, pressing it playfully. as soon as i touched it, he leapt up, suddenly scared.

That was Grandpa’s couch, from years ago. It used to be bright red, but it later took on a shade of burgundy. Plush burgundy. Like Grandma’s jacket.
I sat on it for a while and stared at the indent where the TV used to be. I had a kitten on my lap. He purred softly so that my knees noticeably vibrated on the cushions.
it is comfortable and people who are lazy are called couch potatoes….. yeah i like couches and there are many different kinds. there are recliners ohh yeahhh recliners <3 and normal ones? many colourrs too! so brill
The back is falling off. It leans at a comfortable angle, but in such a way that you can’t really relax. One of these days someone’s going to fall backwards, into the kitchen, but until then we’ll keep it, and keep jumping onto it.
“Couch” is the name of a street in Portland. When I saw it for the first time I pronounced it like the piece of furniture but quickly realized my mistake–it’s pronounced like “cooch”. I also knew a boy once whose last name was Couch, but I never knew whether his name was pronounced like the furniture or the street. It will forever remain a mystery.
Cold, sleek, with pointed edges; it was supposed to be the center piece of the room. The thing that tied it all together, everyone’s personalities. But it was not filled with color and warmth as it should have been, because that’s what we were all about. So where had this couch come from? How did it find it’s way into our home, with it’s great terrifyingly modern personality?
so there was a couch. it was a nice couch, yellow, squishy and the most comfortable thing you could possibly imagine. It was like the big comfy couch minus the clowns!

Oh, couch. What a wonderful place you are. Afternoon naps on the couch with the windows open are my favorite of things. Especially now that Aristotle is born…those uncomfortable pregnant naps on the couch have turned into baby snuggles in the afternoons.

There was no respite. Twice they broke bottles over Danny’s head, leaving shards of glass embedded in his head and the leather couch slimy with blood and cheap wine. When he eventually broke, even his tormentors were embarrassed.
i sit on the couch in my living room and watch telvision. it’s comfortable and blue. sometimes i fall asleep on the couch, and i wake up in pain. The couch is good for watching tv, and cuddling! I don’t know what else to say about a couch! I wish it was a pull out couch. those are convenient.
I sit on a couch to play my video games. I never sleep there though. Which is weird because it is so comfortable. I don’t like playing video games anymore though. I used to play from sun up to sun down, any time at all, but now I watn to be mo0re productive. More focused on my goal to be a stand up comedian.
I have a couch in my living room/ kitchen. It’s been with me through a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean all the times that I’ve been sick. Whenever I get sick, I sleep, puke, and watch tv and movies on that couch. I got sick on Christmas, and spent Christmas throwing up and sleeping and opening up presents on that couch. That was a really crappy Christmas.
I remember how they said they got ringworm from Tallia’s couch, from the syringes and dark spots of blood. I remember the stripes of the low rider, the way their hands grasped the edges and took it from one place to another. Their gleaming muscles in the late Georgia summer, the way mom wrapped her arms around Marko when she thought he’d hurt himself on the outside elevator.
i like couches they are extremely comfy i prefer to just sleep on one all day long maybe even roll over. couches are nice. man one minute this gonna be really hard. i hate leather ones though they get so cold,
Couches are amazing. They are soft and cushy. I love couches. I have a couch that is very old and disgusting. All the springs are broken. So it is not very cushy. But I still like it very much, because it is my lovely couch!
i used to come straight to the couch everyday after school. I wouldnt take my shoes off or my bookbag..not even my jacket. i would just plop on the couch and i swear it would put me to sleep.no matter how energized i was..booom..couch…me…sleep!

my couch is co fomy, i would to be in right now!! my dog loves to sit on top of it all the time, but it drives me nuts!!! he’s lucky i love the little munchkin. I do need to buy another couch to compliment it and get rid of my old one. I would prefer one of those wrap around set but they tend to me very pricey. For now, since we are on a buidget, I might just need to get instead a slip cover for it. I’m undecided on what color i would want it to be. I was thinking something neutral, like brown or tan??? i guess we’ll see what we decide.

Coins and lighters, my hat from winter, lint and even an empty beer can. I reach in and find something new everyday. It’s like a treasure trove of junk.
