  2. I can feel the creature starring.
Covering under the blankets, I’m terrified to move.
The weight of the blanket will protect me.
    He cannot see me.

    The blanket moves.

  3. He was an odd creature. Not what you and I would call normal looking. I’d never seen one before and I was sure that not many other people had, either. But one thing was for sure, I had to get closer to it. I had to discover more about this wonderful discovery that crossed my path.

  4. The creature was massive and disgusting. Saliva hung from its gaping jaws and its eyes were cloudy and full of mucus. As we entered the cave, its giant head swung toward us, and its ears seemed to prick up. It was definitely planning to eat us.

  5. Back of the mind
a sign of things to come
    the sun and moon
    a boom and a bang
    that rang around the stars
    bars and prison walls
    scores of handcuffs
    roughs up the wrists
takes the piss, the fukcing sh-it
    sees fit to smother me
cover me in a mass of reptiles
    piles of insects
perplex me with my own choices
no natural selection, just a rejection
of what is said, done, undone, left for
    dead

  6. Those beings that inhabit this earth. Human and otherwise…. something that could have been a product of our imagination. Ones that no longer exist.

  7. it was beautiful, the creature.
    Differential beauty.
No wonder people stopped to stare at it.
    Yet it was called freak.
    Menace.
    Yet no one could see
    Or understand
    the beauty of it underneath.

  8. Created thing. Sometimes hairy, sometimes not. My creature sits at home, naturally, and quite unnaturally lies on a chair and sleeps. I too am a creature but not that sort. Sometimes I wish I were. No worries or responsibilities – nothing to taste but my own fear and joy, the hot blood of my prey in my mouth. No guilt for wounding others; there is no morality in nature. No one questions the king of beasts, who starves and enjoys the wind in his mane on the savannah while my little beast purrs, fat, content, and bored, on my lap. It’s the most unnatural thing for an animal to be domesticated, and yet the most natural – we humans conquer and use what we conquer for our own pleasure.

  9. my dog’s a creature. a majestic creature that likes to poop an d hump guests legs. He also likes to sniff other creatures, like cats and squirrels. Not that they let him but that won’t stop a fearless creature like that guy

  11. I am a dreadful creature. My awful body and lifeless eyes, its a wonder how I can go through everyday acting the same. I wish I wasn’t the second option though. I wish you cared about me thae way I do to you. I cherish every word you say, and you barely notice mine. Maybe this is the reason for my misery. Maybe I am deserving of this torture.

  13. We are all creatures of habit and it is very difficult to change things we have been doing over and over throughout our entire lives. We are all creatures of the Universe and we deserve each others respect and tolerance. We are perfect creatures just the way we are and we should learn to accept ourselves just the way we are.

  14. The thing in the woods that you see in the distance. Not sure what it might be, but you can’t look away. It rushes towards you and move for cover. As you look behind, you see that there was nothing there. Just your imagination running wild.

  15. Of all the creatures in the world
    Humans are the worst
    Built of fear and
    Destruction
    Hatred and
    Worry
    and

    anyone
    want such

  16. I looked before me at the looming creature. It was large and ugly and terrible, yet I was overcome with a strange sense of pity for this beast which had been a derivative of my own thoughtless mistakes and angers. After all, such a hate-filled beast could not exist without a terrible force driving it into being.

  17. a creature is a person really strange, it can be a monster and love me and I think that one day I could reincarnate in a creature. For example with a green head and 4 eyes. That would be gre

  18. There was a beast, sitting in the corner of the broken down castle, chewing on some sort of small creature. It had dark green eyes focused on his living meal. Dark hair standing on his back running up around the back of it’s head to it’s face, breathing deeply and vigorously as if it was the first time it had a meal in years; at that time I realized I should probably be concealing myself a little more considering I was standing in the open, frozen like a statue, worrying if the wilder beast was going to notice his next meal standing there in shock waiting to be devoured. I dashed to the shadowed area hoping it didnt notice.

  26. These creatures have the worst facial features I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen the unseen and everything in between and Somehow I’ve never been engulfed by so much fear. These creatures are beautiful, the worst. The greatest intimidation. Last comes first. First come first serve. Creatures eating like neanderthals at a five star buffet. 29. Interesting it is to find the creatures of myth manifest themselves into the material realm, in archetypal form at least. it’s quite obvious that the mythological dragon is the military jet. have you been to the middle east lately? it resembles more of middle earth. have you witnessed an airstrike in syria? did you see the way the rebels and refugees look to the sky in horror as widowed women grab their kin and cry-out to god when they spot the jet flying towards their village? It fits the description of everything you read in folklore once upon a time: this roaring winged thing coming out of the sky to unleash fire — there’s nowhere for them to take cover and they know it, that’s why they don’t run. homes become tombs under a bombblast. refugees enter buildings to die just as the dwarves that fled from the dragon into their dry wheat fields could not escape its flames…

creatures create. Humans create love and happiness and concrete. Spiders create silk and screams from the bathroom. Cats create scratches on the sofa and many many photos on your phone. Everything in the world creates and has an impact on other things, small or big.

I want to be a free creature, but I am slave to my habits.
