  1. Working together to be a part of something big, something important. The members of the crew are all important, and without even one person that crew may not work to their full potential. As a member of a crew it is important that you ask for help when needed, and give help to those in need. Everyone has something to offer, and all members bring their own knowledge and experience to every situation.

  2. Techies – build crew, lighting crew, costume crew, paint crew. One crew after another. I work my ass off, at least once in a while. I try to tell myself that I care, that I love the work that we do in our department, but I try to get out of working whenever I can. I stand around talking at every opportunity, while the rest of the crew is working, sweating, creating something beautiful. I should try more. I may be the lazy, freeloading son, but I am still part of the family.

  3. i need someone to be a member of my ‘stability crew’ because
    this ship is sinking,
    my mind is fading,
    my heart is breaking,
and i need someone to be on my side and pull me out of the water.

  4. “Alll aboard!” I jumped onto the ship on my yellow sparkly unicon. My mother jumped into the ocean and I laughered. My unicorn landed and I screamed as I accidently got kicked in the head by my unicorn. SOme man yelled, “GET THYE HELL OUT OF HERE MATE!” AND i SAID.
“YOU GET OUT OF HERE MATE. I’M SEAZING THIS SHIP, E, MY MOKEY AND MY SPARKLY UNICORN.” I jumped of corn, the unicorn, and laughed triumphantly.
I pulled out my knife and cut off my unicorns horn then ran around the shipm, stabbign everyone with it. THe end.

    new time
but I’m starting to miss the older days

I guess I just miss the old crew

  10. They rowed the boat
    In the tempest of seaweed
    Competing for the world’s recognition
The tallest one in the back was convinced
That she could see more than just the finish line
The shortest one in the front was convinced
    She was invincible
The golden trophy in their hands
    They walked home
    Proudly

  11. I don’t like this word. There’s something about the way the e is lost within the rest of the consonants & it makes me uneasy. I do not like the word ‘crew’. So I guess that’s something I have.

  13. John had hardly been able to recognize Sherlock when he returned. And not just because he’d been dead for so long, either. His face was gaunt, moreso than usual, he’d actually acquired a bit of a tan, his clothes were those of a casual student, and his loose, dark curls had been sheared off into a close-cropped crew cut. He hardly looked himself, and John wouldn’t have realized at all who had approached him, had it not been for those telltale cheekbones.
Which soon earned themselves a good punch.

  14. A gang of hoodlums walks down the street; tattoos and faded jeans hanging low, held only by a shoestring. Yelled at, demeaned, kicked out of stores and shunned from civilized society. Punks, outlaws, thieves, crooks…they don’t understand though, because they live and die together. It’s family.

  15. In the book of charlotte doyles confessions she is at first friends with the captain then she turns to the crew after she finds out what the captain is really like. Crew is a four letter word which is my fathers lucky # haha. Crew can mean your pack of friends or like a group of working people. 18. the crew is gone, diminished over time. we talk every once in awhile, maybe a text or a quick visit. but it all seems so unnatural and uncomfortable… not like it once was before. we all once used to be so tight, sharing drinks, laughs, stories, our past, & our beds… but we slowly moved away from each other, physically and emotionally. i wanted to move on from them all but sometimes i miss those i left in the past.
    — not who they are now but who they were to me then.

  19. Me and the crew. Inseparable some say. Not by choice, but by fate. Me and the crew. Sounds rather masculine really, but we are beautiful creatures. Like nothing anyone has ever seen before. So thank you.

  20. The crew of the vessel watched in horror as the sea monster rose before them. It’s got to be 100 feet tall, Jacob thought. What do we do now? Besides run? We can’t outrun it. We’re doomed.

  26. I was the crew leader and I led them. Down wide trails and narrow and through a thick, stinking bog. We pushed hard and some of them fell in, pants full of muck and sleeping bags ruined, and still they followed me. “A natural born leader,” says my mother, and me feeling afraid of this power.

  27. Just the other day my crew got upset about the weather. How long do they have to live just to get the experience and just freaking put up with it. We have no control, nor can it be controlled. Just let it happen and deal with it. My crew makes me nervous. It’s just another form of beautiful weather.

  28. It’s good to be part of something, to feel the support and camaraderie of a group, to all be steering in the direction of a similar goal/intention. My crew is made up of friends, family & members of my spiritual community along with my Guides & Angels.

  31. The boy held out the pistol towards the mass of the disheveled and gritty crew. They looked on his wearily until the boy fainted from the sun. It was hard being a captain. Especially when he was a mere lad of thirteen, who had inherited a massive piece of floating junk that his anonymous father had left behind for him before his pathetic death by some petty duel.

  32. The crew
    All of us

    We stick together
    and Fight
