  3. The crew is what keeps the boat from sinking. Crew cannot be just one person, but always a group that has to communicate to each other. The conditions may change: sometimes there is howling wind that makes it impossible to hear each other, sometimes it’s so dark that you cannot see others around you but just have to rely on sound. What can make a difference between a good crew and an excellent crew is mutual trust.

Crew rhymes with grew, shrew, true, poo, shoe, helloooooo, too to two. It suggests formality of command. A team. Crewe is one letter different, a town in Staffordshire. Wreck is one letter anagram away. This is a hard word! Crew of people, never animals. A crew of crows should be the plural, not a “murder” of crows.
