    I don’t find it very comfortable to crouch as it is somewhat painful on my legs. Too much basketball when I was younger and now I’m not in the same shape I ws.

I miss feeling strong enough to leap out of this fatal position, I miss having that very strength that pushed my ever muscle to an extensive powerful person. I miss not being the little girl in the body of a little monster that seems to always crouch.

  11. crouching tiger, hidden dragon. that’s a movie, a movie I’ve never seen. I heard it’s good though. It also reminds me of a child, or camping lighting a fire, or playing in the sand or drawing with chalk: typically you crouch in those positions. Crouch rhymes with couch.

  13. babies crouch to improve their muscles so that they begin to walk. sometimes croucing is used when you are trying to find something or when you are playing a fun game of hide and seek.

  17. I tend to do things like this when I’m feeling anything from sad to angry. I crouch and walk towards a mirror I have against my wall. It’s interesting and funny to see the faces I make when I stare into my own eyes. I wonder what faces I make when someone else stares into my eyes.

  18. If he crouched just right, here in the shadow, they couldn’t see him. His muscles ached but he would stay. He needed to be here, to hear this, to see this. If they wanted to ruin his life, he was going to watch them do it.
    The best part was that neither of them knew that he sat in the shadows, watching, waiting. When they slipped, and he knew they would, he would already know. They wouldn’t get to watch his heart break.

Taking the animal from the earth would not effect the forests life cycle, Orin was certain of that. She would respect the creature even after death, the elders taught her kind to treat nature with such deserved customs. Pulling back on the arrow, Orin prepared to release the sharp edged point aiming for the swiftest death to the noble beast.

  22. I tend to do these things when I get nervous, sad, or angry. I crouch and walk towards the mirror. Why? Maybe to watch myself and the things I do when I stare at myself with a certain emotion or expression on my face. The things I notice when I don’t want to notice at all.

  30. hidden tiger, crouching dragon. or something like that. land in a crouch to absorb the shock. or if you’re xena, warrior princes. almost looked like couch instead of crouch. so i had a bunch of different stories in mind. hohoho. but anyway. it also almostl ooked like crotch. but anyway. crouch squat? it doesn’t even sound like a word anymore.

  31. when i think of crouching i think of a child playing hide and go seek. i think of summertime and innocence. and not even caring about getting dirty or getting stuck in a bush. when you’re small and naive, you can fit in small spaces. crouching down to fit into this big world.

  35. whenever i see this word it makes me wonder if they are talking about the thing in between your legs or when you sit on your knees. because they are very confusing and easy to mix up. for the first 12 years of my life i called the two opposite of the real defintion. whooops. ill blame my mother for that one.

  38. I like crouching as I hide in the brush. There is a bear near by. No sounds just hush. 60 seconds go by and he just wanders off. looks like ill be fine crouching here in the brush.
