  1. “Are you feeling daring tonight?” you said, with a mischievous look on your face. It made me laugh out loud. I was afraid, but intrigued. I shook my head even though I wanted to. And I want you to know that I would say yes now. If you asked me again, there wouldn’t be a doubt in my mind.

  2. Daring to do something means that you are willing to leave behind anything else and just go for it. There are many things we usually carry that somehow grow up to become a baggage we can’t actually leave. To dare in doing something means we need to have the courage, to be brave and to face the new comings of what that brings to us.

  3. I dare you to judge me and call me something I’m not. I dare you to make assumptions, and watch me prove you wrong, you are nothing, and I am nothing. We are all nothing but we make one another something. We make one another something beautiful. I dare you to tell me I don’t match up to your standards, because I bet you, I bet you that you’re wrong.

  5. The dare was a simple one. Live. He took a step out of the door. It had been years since his skin was kissed by the sun. The wind called for him.

    “I don’t want to,” I said. I hated heights.

“You do want to,” he said. “You just don’t want to admit that you do.”

“No, I’m pretty sure I really don’t want to.”

He shook his head. “Then I guess that’s it,” he said.

  35. Do I dare disturb the universe?
    I walk
    I fall
    I trip
    I die
    Over and over
    Leading to endless corridors
    Of shadows descrepid
A flickering light is my guide
I pray it doesn’t burn out
    But I travel nevertheless.
Do I dare disturb the universe?
Do I dare leave a smudged fingerprint
On the furnished table of an upstate mansion?
    To kill time
    To kill society
To kill a breath in space
Is my only goal in life?

  40. It wasn’t a dare, but I did it anyway. Everyone else had been dared, but that’s because everyone else had to be. No one was brave enough to just do it. I was. And that changed me. I looked over the side of the boat and jumped. But the real difference between me and them is that no one saw me fall; I didn’t come back up.
