Foxes live in a den. I live in a house. I should not follow them. I’d get lost. Never able to find my way back. Lost and stuck in a foxes den.

I see people turn there heads and quickly look away, like a new born baby it happens everyday. maybe then I fade away and not have to face the facts, its not easy facing up when your whole world is black. No longer will you sink or turn a different blue, i cannot for see this thing happening to you.

a den is a place that you can go to relax and do whatever you like. They often have t.vs, radios, computers and games, all things for enjoying one’s time. also known as the man cave, or the lad lair.

Come into the den, my dear. It’s warm, dimly lit with an effervescent glow, and it has me inside it. What more could you want?

Daniel courageously stood up in the dark, the lions watching him…. and inside the nightmarish tomb-like den, his fear was vanquished by the living God, who closed the lions mouths

My brother, father and brother’s loud friend are in the den watching football. They are so loud. I cannot take it. I hear them through the floor. Ugh football season is here.

so i was a little fox living in a den. my father and mother were there. it was very cave like and stark shadows were on the barely illuminated den walls. this was our home, our place of safety. outside anything could happne.

The wood paneling was beginning to fall off but the splendor and warmth of the den had not begun to fade. The emerald green sofa was adjacent to the lit fire but the couple sat on the ground with hands cupping mugs of warm tea.

thats where it all began
damp and cold
our eyes met
and then our future
began to unfold
with every touch, and kiss
our bodies embraced each other
and became one
this’ll never be able to be undone

I am in the den right now. My computer is dead and I have yet to take all my pictures off of it. James is going to put Windows 7 on my computer so that I won’t be without my computer and I can sit with him all day long here in this den. :) The floor is dirty and needs to be swept. I like the tile. It’s got an old brown design that reminds me of my great grandma’s house.

The dragons are waiting. They want to see your invention but they won’t invest unless you give them a good enough reason. You have to back up your projected profits and cover all bases. If they like what you tell them, they’ll say yes and you’ll get your deal.

a den is something that houses people. like a lions den or a bear den. you can also have a den in your house but honestly ive never ever seen one in someones house or at least it be called that. and a den also makes the think of daniel from the bible

And nobody knew what to say. We are all in the den, looking around at the fire place crackling, the swirling smoke like a bandanna curled around us. It was quiet, and we all stared at each other like we knew what to do, even though we didn’t.

The falling water was more than adequate as an alarm clock. Your bony fingers felt around your taut abdomen and checked for some proof of last night’s rendezvous.

you threw me in the lion den, a dark pit of hell. im not sure how far i’ve walked, but im sure ill be just as well.

I used to live in a den. even though it was dark and there were many bears I learned to love the place. The moisture became my comfort and soon I called it my home.

Smugglers den. Jewels and diamonds. I wonder if there are any smugglers near us. Probably not.

Cozy up in the den we don’t have as this is a one bedroom apartment and that’s all we can afford but cozy up nonetheless with each other on the futon and our twenty six inch dying tv pop some popcorn and let’s enjoy this

den is probably state of mind somewhere between zen and nirvana. Well, i know that it is hard to reach it.
By marina on 09.12.2010
i wish to have a den. to sit in. with an open fire. hopefully i’ll be able to sit in that den with the woman i’m in love with. and all we do is sit there and talk. talk all day and all night. share our thoughts with each other.

jessie wore fashionable glasses, and a ton of make-up.she had just gotten her hair cut in what she called a ‘dike spike’.i just called it short.she started snapping pictures-capturing this very dead girl in her ‘den of equity’ pose.

They were hiding out in the den again. She liked this time they spent together, alone, away from all his mates. She knew she was just one of the lads to him, but for her …

He wore a shirt that was beautifully sewn and with a pipe stuck unexpectedly in his breast pocket. I found him sitting like this in the den staring unexplainedly into the keyhole of the trunk.

The den is a place in my house where I seldom inhabit. My dad works in there, business as usual, and it’s nothing exciting. The den was originally supposed to be my bedroom, but I didn’t end up living in there because it’s right next to my parent’s room.
By Sam on 09.12.2010
in the den we hid away from our world of worries and fear and realized we were only deepening our fear and need to hide in the den. we should instead climb out of the den into the sun and show face to all our faults. and pray.
By whitney on 09.12.2010
we were sitting in the den of the house where i had grown up. it seemed so different all those years ago. i cant believe that I am seeing it again through new eyes.
By karli on 09.12.2010
the lion stirred in the den while the world raged outside. he wanted nothing to do with anything other than being in that den. he cared not for why the world raged – he only knew it did and he hated it.

i was sleeping softer softer softer and you were burning your own firewood soul to keep me warm. i am the ever ungrateful but i won’t apologize quite yet.
By johie URL on 09.12.2010
A den can either refer to that of a person in their home, or a lion’s den. Either way, it’s a place to feel at home. Somewhere that is your own. Somewhere that’s part of your home. I don’t have one.
By Bridget on 09.12.2010
The cave outside the village appeared to be empty but the locals swera they have seen a Lion coming from the den. Setting up my camera equipment I waited at a rempte location to view the results

the den was large and pretty with animal heads mounted on the walls. I was very surprised and scared about the heads.

It’s safe. It’s the cage I crawl into at the end of each day, broken and defeated from another battle with the world. it’s home. it’s my room.
By Sabrina URL on 09.12.2010
you have thrown me in,
but i am not afraid.
i have not fallen to my knees in despair;
my words are not for your unclean ears,
neither is my flesh for the devouring lions;
I believe in a love strong enough to protect me.
By sylvia on 09.12.2010
I’d like a den, a place of comfort, peace, and tranquillity. A cosy happy den.

“Shut uppa you face and get outta my den!”
Vincenzo’s face was apoplectic as he shouted at the waiter.
“You serve-a me dinner two hour ago! What-a you-a doin’ in-a my house!”

fire place room. or the lair or a bear. happy and warm vs. cool and scary. i dream of a day when bears can also lay on a cushy sofa in front of the fire…
