  17. Thinking of a table where I have been sitting. A glass is perched on the white and blue checkered table cloth. All day I walk by the table passing the glass wanting to make sure I don’t bump it, sometimes remembering it is there, other times forgetting, but the whole time knowing right where it is, at the brink of shattering into a hundred pieces on the concrete floor below.
