the edge of a cliff will make you fall into the abyss. you are on the edge of your life everyday .. if i was on the edge of the cn tower i would be scared … without an edge we’d be trapped forever

on the edge of glory. closer to the edge. edge of a razor. edge of a cliff. ahhhhh, I’m gonna die, on a cliff. Cliff hanger books.. I like those, i think. Oh my gosh. edgeedgeedge. The edge is near the cliff. Cliffs have edges. Pools have edges that you can dive right in at. The edge leads to a very far fall. You could die by jumping off the edge. Suicides can be done by jumping off the edge of a bridge, cliff, anything.

they were living life on edge. everyone knew about the weird little group of misfits, the oddly charming but still kinda creepy kids who hung out afterschool everyday under the bleachers. and then when the clock hit 4, they all departed at once and simply disappeared. some people said they went and smoked weed; some said they did lsd; some said they rode motorbikes around the town and terrorized local police.
what they really did was play rockpaperscissorslizardspock and watch doctor who in their basements–living it on the furthest side of the edge.

Standing on the edge, Karanina looked down below at the waves as they crashed into the rocks that bordered the bottom of the large cliff. The ocean breeze felt more like a gale from where she stood. It was like being at the edge of the world, discovering that it just drops off.

when he fell, he took her with him. her dark hair and his dark hair blew in the wind. the mountain smiled. one by one, their shoes fell off their feet – her gilded sandals, his canvas slippers; finger by finger, their hands unraveled too, and suddenly the air was the only thing that connected them.

This is the border place, where the lines end and the fun begins you can fall off, but you never actually leave. It tastes kind of like ice and Coca-cola and permafrost. I also know a song about it: Closer to the Edge.

I’m on the edge of glory I used to be straight edge. I don’t even know what else to say about edge. Mike sends me over the edge all the damn time. Edge is worse than 3G. Edgy. Circles don’t have edges. Nope.

As I sit on the edge of the world I look up at the sky and see a shooting star. Where are you going shooting star? May I please come, I have been sitting here for almost 3 days now and the edge, well it’s starting to hurt my butt. Shooting star please take me with you.

standing on the edge. do i go over or walk away. do i hang in the spaces in-between. exciting and frightening bundled as one. so much potential. and it echos. it echos here. here above the world. solitary. yet everything within reach. sometimes its like youve already gone over. or as if something is pushing you there. giving you wings or breaking them is the question. yes. thats the question. to fly or to fall. but the journey is the part where you live. not standing there undecided before the edge, not after. the part where your stomach knots and tenses and turns to butterflies and your heart flutters. so much potential.

Living at the edge of your abilities you are pushed to stretch yourself to abilities you did not know you possessed. It is the new frontier of your own universe and a lifetime adventure.

I’m living on the edge of a precipice, frantically scrambling to stop sliding towards the drop. Living on the edge isn’t all about fancy haircuts and high fashion

The edge of glory by Lady Gaga comes to mind, which is weird because I can’t stand her. The edge of a cliff, reached by hiking, overlooking a breathtaking vast lake. The edge of paper, where you just can’t squeeze one more letter in.
By Teaslay on 10.02.2011
I’m on the edge of a cliff when I realize that I’ve only barely edged out an existence on this small edge of the universe. I step backwards, edging carefully to not slip. Suddenly, I trip over the edge of a small rock and fall forward. Quickly I reach up! Luckily the left edge of my right hand, the pinky and the ring finger catch the cutting edge of the cliff.

Edge can mean a lot of things. Mainly it’s a the name of a radio station in New Zealand which is actually called “The Edge” this station is popular among teenagers really. Edge can also mean the end of something. Like for example the edge of a table or piece of paper.

The little girl sat on the edge of the pool, barely daring to put her feet in. She looked up at her dad, standing behind her. “Daddy, are you sure it’s safe to go in?” the little girl said in a little voice that held a little bit of fear. The father picked the little girl up, careful not to pinch her water wings. “Of course it’s safe, sweetheart,” he told her with a chuckle and a reassuring smile.

sharp or fine or dull. encompass all of these things within me. if you slip off, your wing may break. who could help you fly then? I don’t think anybody would, but if I was a snake, I would not bite you. there is something terrible growing inside of you, sharp or fine or dull, I am not sure which.
By Megan on 10.02.2011
On the edge…do you jump and trust yourself or do you stay and all the while peering down? It is both safe and dangerous on the edge. Safe because your feet are on the ground, dangerous because falling is just a step away.

That one song by Lady Gaga about being on the edge of glory? What does that even mean?
What glory? I mean the odds of her being remembered like some Greek poet are pretty slim. Maybe not though with technology. How do we learn to forget?

Living on the edge,
each atom of my being
pixelating and dissolving;
being materialized into another realm.
A realm like no other,
where I can be at peace;
personify the serenity into my best friend,
where I find God,
my secret place,
just beyond the edge.

am i on an edge? A crespisce? Am i about to jump. I want to. I want to jump and never look back – to fly, soar, and be limitless. To be with him, that person I never knew but always should have known. The person so close to me and yet so foreign, a complete stranger. For you, I would fly and never look back.

Run til you reach the edge and can’t run anymore. Don’t give up until you’ve reached your absolute limit and even then dig deeper than ever before to find more. Push

You know, it’s pretty funny this was the word.
It makes me think. It makes me realize some things.

I was feeling on edge. Then again, I always feel on edge around him. Ever since being expelled, I can’t help but hate him. It’s becoming a deeper and more thorough hate with every day that passes. Every day that he doesn’t apologize for what he did. The sad part is, I don’t think he remembers what he did…

On the edge of her decision. She could go through with what she had diligently planned, or chicken out again.
Somehow her muscles reacted innately.
She knife was maneuvering over,
his eyes darted,
she met them,
they saw through her,
and she twisted,
his breath left him,
and he dropped dead.
Stabbed by a nine-year-old girl.
I’m on the edge of my attention span, teetering between doing work and wasting time. I will probably give in and spend endless moments daydreaming instead.

I’m hanging on the edge and you pull me back with just a look. I don’t even need to see you, I can feel your gaze heavy on my back, keeping me grounded fifty floors up. You don’t ask what I’m doing or why I’m up here or tell me to step down from the ledge. You let the wind whistle cool and low between us and I think you know I won’t really do it. I think you know I’m just testing the waters and our boundaries and the way we are now. I think it was that night I decided I loved you.

walking on the edge of the world. To breaking through yourself, to be yourself, to do anything you walk. To be free, you must walk on the edge, run through the hills, scream through the valley’s and just be. Be, everything and anything. Become the edge, let the edge define you, for if you can’t define yourself, the you let other define you, and you must accept the names you are given if you don’t try and put true names to yourself; therefor, living with the consequence of what you have been given to deal with for you haven’t spoken up, and released yourself, and leaped off the edge.
