  1. edition: version. that’s what comes to mind for me. a new version. everything nowadays changes quickly. wether it is the new scarf in for the winter or the bathing suit thrown in the back of your closet from two summers ago. I feel like we are never satisfied and search for new editions. new versions. I wouldn’t mind just curling up with a blanket in front of a fireplace with a guitar and a couple of minds. I’d enjoy it much more than sitting in my room with air-conditioning and playing Angry Birds on the latest iPod, iPhone, iPad, or whatever is cool these days.

  2. I am writing the first edition of my novel… I am obsessed with my story and think about it all of the time. I think of my characters as dear friends and I simply can not wait until I can get my book out there for people to read. I WILL get this thing published. I don’t care how long it takes.

  5. my first edition of my book was supposed to make me millions. However it made me regret every relationship i ever had. How could i love a book more than i loved any other person? Im a monster.

  6. i don’t know what to write about edition.. i think about renewals, things that are constantly changing, always evolving into better and greater things. it is proof that the world is in constant evolution, and shows the desire for change in humanity… whether it’s a limited edition of “candy bars” or the latest issue of a magazine…it symbolizes change.

  7. Edition. mmmm. I don’t know. I think edition is like the generation of something. It’s like the first edition is always the best, depending on the situation but maybe the second edition is better. I really don’t know what it means or what to write about it. I have no clue what to say.

  8. First edition. I can’t wait….i dream of the day my own novels will be published and I will be holding a first edition of my own work!

  9. The latest edition of the filthy old rag hit the streets in the early hours of the morning, and old Charlie picked up a copy with little thought for the blood that was the ink of its pages. He furrowed his brow at the news contained within its pages, for it only told of horror and lost hope.

    Her name was Kate Beckett.

“Does anyone read that thing anymore?”

“No. But they keep putting it out.”

  12. She hadn’t read the new edition yet, but she had heard only good things about it. The next morning, she was walking from the 11th street deli to her job 5 blocks south and saw it shining in the window of a Stewart’s shop.

  13. In edition to all the pain she was suffering on the inside. She was suffering on the outside as well. If she said that he didn’t like he would take action. It was the same way if she did something he didn’t like. She hid all her pain well painting on smiles and make up to hide all the bruises. Walking on egg shells around him, doing what he asked with out hesitation. Making sure everything was perfect for him but still some how she wasn’t doing something right. She always upset him some how even when she was doing nothing. She wanted to leave but she couldn’t. She didn’t know why but she loved him and that kept her there. She knew that he was taking advantage of the fact that she couldn’t bring her self to leave. But, she didn’t care she was going to do what ever it took to make him love her as much as she loves him. Even if that meant dealing with the pain.

  14. first edition books smell like my mother’s attic. a little musty, too much handling, lots of words exchanged. perhaps home to some small creature and boundless imaginations. gold lettering peeling off, revealing nothing but the most important thing we have: words.

  15. the early edition new is something that not everyone can handle. it means the you hae responsibility. its means you are blessed it means you got lucky. you know how to help and you know what to do. the only thing left is to make the desicion
    do you want the power?

  16. the first edition of harry potter probably isn’t worth all that terribly much mainly because they’ve never stopped printing it. i had a friend who disliked harry potter, which is a shame, but he had a first edition in the hopes that it would be worth something someday. i don’t think a book is worth anything if you never read it and appreciate it. i wish they wouldn’t keep track of editions.

  18. “The new edition of the paper is coming out soon,” he announced.
    I sighed. More deadlines.
I love what I do, but sometimes I feel that my artistic talent is so restricted by time. I can’t be creative when I have to hurry to meet the next due date. My shutter only clicks so quickly.

  19. of the wildest kind of the kindest memories of a stranded past, lost to a clouded mind in silence…

  20. The second edition came out in late February. It was the newer cover that sparked interest this time, and maybe the title, too. I’m not sure I’d have been so interested if I hadn’t read the first edition before, though; I just liked the picture of the big dog, a German Shepherd, on the front, this time. “Hero” didn’t sound quite as quaint as “The Lemon Meringue Dog” to me. But hey, that’s just opinion.

  21. I read the first edition of the book that was practically falling apart in my hands. The threadbare novel was a key to the past that was too powerful for me to comprehend.

  22. This book’s edition, which is it?

I have no idea. Why don’t you check with the librarian, dear?

    Yeah, that would make sense.

Why do you want to know that anyway? Must be something special.

  24. I hate this word. It means I have to buy a new book because they needed to change a sentence from the old book, and they won’t give my any money for my old book because it is outdated.
Overall- just a word that means something has been renewed

  29. The deluxe edition of most albums is amazing. The added bonus tracks (usually acoustic) are a good way to feel like you know the band personally. Sometimes these deluxe editions have a DVD as well.

  35. I had picked up the latest edition of the papers, and the news was just as bad as I had heard mention. This time, the images covered the first 10 pages. Images that appeared as though they were of a foreign land and not like home at all.

  36. The new edition of my math textbook came out today. It’s going to cost $59.99. I don’t even have that much in the bank right now. How does Mr. Signer expect me to buy it for tomorrow’s class?

  39. Ultimate edition of my favourite album or magazine. Wish I could buy it but it’s too expensive. I also wish I could meet Tohoshinki in person and tell them in their native language how much I like them and how proud I am of them for achieving so much. I have other goals too. running out of time, gotta go..
