  5. The room was redone and when completed definitely had some flare. The colors and patterns on the wall really made the room pop. It was a great use of the space.

  6. Nostrils flare as her muscles worked. Pulling, pushing, her body screams for her to stop and yet she continues. Exhaustion hits her like a ton of bricks and then… she collapses. She breathes a sign of relief.

  10. I think of flare as in fire. But it could also mean your temper has rose to a very high level and you could be very anger with someone or at someone. People sometimes say your temper has flared which is not a good thing.

    For a minute she let herself daydream about living life like a Kardashian sister, with money, clothes, cars, fame.

    Then she sighed and quickened her pace. He would be home in five minutes and Kris Jenner was not coming to her rescue.

    I like the car commercial where a family is at the edge of a canyon watching all the stuck vehicles send up flares, like it was a fireworks show – and then eventually decide to go down and help them, with their all terrain vehicle :)

  30. Flare reminds me of fashion! Which reminds me of Brittney. Because she’s got an ass load of clothes that she will never ever wear. Because that makes sense. :) I do enjoy shopping with her though. We could go all day. When we bring other people along, it’s not as fun because no one can shop like we can together. It’s like.. we have some kind of psychological connection.

  31. A burst of colour. Sparks flying everywhere, dancing in the dark night sky. It was a happy prospect, that of rescue. He felt the urge to almost cheer, but suppressed the need upon reflection.

  36. He stared at me for a long time. I watched his narrowed eyes, his tense mouth, his flared nostrils. I didn’t say a word. Suddenly, he was there, grasping my upper arms tightly. His eyes flashed red for a second, and then they softened. His face relaxed as he gazed down at me. But before he could utter a word, I turned on my heel, his expression of slight disbelief still fresh in my mind.
