butterflies flutter around the flowers and pollinate them so that they grow more beautiful.

As she stepped into the rolling waves her skin covered itself in goosebumps & her heart felt a flutter.

I often find myself enjoying nature more than usual. I take note on the smell of the air and the sounds around me. The appreciation I have for seeing a butterfly flutter is simply astonishing, and I wonder why?

I flutter like a bird in the sky when i have a great day. I wonder what time it is as my eyes flutter with flirtation.
By katie on 04.03.2009
a bird fluttered through the window and came upon a spider’s web. The bird thought about going into the web to find the spider and ask it advice about life.

butterflies hovering over dainty buds, colors splashing across the blue summer sky. yellows, oranges, violets and green – pretty sights to behold fluttering.
By darrhel on 04.03.2009
the way that a butterfly moves its wings, seriously, kinda trippy but elegant at the same time, wow time goes far more slowly than one would expect
By Wallio on 04.03.2009
I dont know what this word is. Flutter like a buttefly , one word two words? Flutter like butter or cutter… Flutter like love like love in your stomic. Flutter like summer and pie
By Nickie on 04.03.2009
Flutter like butterflies. What else flutters? You don’t hear this word too often. Is fluttering precisely the flapping of the wings, or can anything flutter? It sounds nice and implies something happy like freedom or escape. I should go look it up in the dictionary.

my heart was fluttering like clothes in the summer breeze. it was only 2 a.m. in the morning, and i was wondering how long more i had to go before i could see her face again. that face in the window. like a mirage over the ground, it was so clear, yet so far. i wished.

my heart flutters as
your eyelashes open and close
it’s hard to breathe with such

Butterfly wings fluttered gently across her hand. She smiled as she lay back slowly in the field of grass. If she moved to quickly she would send the rest of the butterflies into a frenzy. No, peace is what they needed.

Butterflies warm my soul to the depth of my horror they devour my eyes. Bong!!

My heart flutters when I see you. You are fantastic. You are so nice. I want to be in love with you. I want you to be in love with me. I want to be happy. I want you to make me happy. I want to kiss you and I want you to hold me. I want to lay in bed all day and watch movies with you. I want you to hold my hand and bring me coffee in the morning when you know I need it. I want you to text me goodnight and good morning.

flutter, of course meaning like the flutter of wings. makes ya think of birds, i guess, and although my first instinct when i was given the task of writing about a random topic was to make a joke, no good “flutter” jokes are really popping up right now.
By Joey on 04.03.2009
eyes flutter before they hit the floor. behind herself again. as loud as she’s yelling they still won’t hear her. “i’m right here, i’m fine!” they pulled the sheet over her a few minutes later.
By greg on 04.03.2009
the flutter of the wings on the butterfly that attempted to cross the road. little did he know that the car was traveling faster than his multi-colored, transparent wings.
By Lindsay on 04.03.2009
flounce on the foaming freestyle flutter. Flip a fucking frameshift fife, and enjoy it

Fluttering, butterflies. She was 6 then, it was 5 years 3 months 2 weeks and 6 days until I never saw her again.

My heart is fluttering like mad. I have never felt so ALIVE. I think this has definitely been one of the better choices I’ve made with my life. I’m young, but I’m in love. I’m not hesitant to say it either, because this thing is once in a lifetime. You don’t let things this good go bad: that would be making a bad choice. This was a beautiful day. This was a good mark. This is a good life.

An ant fluttered down from a branch that it was perched on after a gust of wind ripped through the air. As it fell it noticed a lot of great things. It saw a bird flying above and a dog barking at a cat.
By Charles on 04.03.2009
As he walked by I stopped dead in my tracks. Then I felt it. My heart began to beat faster and faster. It fluttered around in my chest begging to be set free. I quickly pushed some hair behind my ear and gave a small shy smile. Our eyes met and he gave a grin, nodding in my direction. Perfection. He was perfection.

Really, i’m no more feminine than anybody esle. It takes a kind of… confidence, and patience, to accept that you’re simply no more or less androgynous than another woman, or a man. Fluttering is generally used in jest, as an excited kind of coo ( I guess?)
By Majin on 04.03.2009
you make my heart flutter at the sight of your eyes. like pools of blue, i could stare at them for hours on end without taking a single breath.
By tericka on 04.03.2009
The butterfly was confused. Flying around the flowerbed was proving to be more difficult than any of her flight instructors had told her. The wind was causing the flowers to wave about, chaotic, each vying to hit her and send her hurtling to the ground.

Butterflies. One of my favorite feelings is the feeling of butterflies in my stomach, the nervous kind that you only get when you’re with a boy that you have a crush on. A girl should always have butterflies.
By ylime on 04.03.2009
I think of my heart. I hear it when I think of him. He’s amazing and all I need. I hope it stays this way. What would I do without him? Love, love, love! What a beautiful word! I’m so glad I finally expressed it.
By Samantha on 04.03.2009
I might have a flutter today on the grand national. placing a small bet on the most watched horse race in the British sporting calendar is an annual treat. The most rewarding method is to organise a small sweepstake with family or colleagues. That way there’s always a winner close at hand. I don’t tend to have a flutter on anything else. Maybe on the roulette wheel if I happen to be in a casino. This doesn’t happen very often either though. When you don’t gamble often you can afford to have the occasional flutter.
By Sarah on 04.03.2009
is what my heart does
when he starts to utter
words like i love you
since i never heard them before
they sound so much more beautiful
than the sound of closing doors.
all i known before.
wounds left me sore.
By OliviaShanaye. on 04.03.2009
butterflies often do this. Stomachs, eyelashes, light, eyes, ideas, perception, ideas. There is a family of things that flutter. I think of grass when I say this word. I do not know why.
By Josh on 04.03.2009
leaves flutter by in the wind, and it’s fall again. snow flutters to the ground, and then it’s winter. birds flutter through the sky, and suddenly it is spring. and then summer comes, and nothing flutters because the oppressive heat weighs down on us all and we can hardly lift a finger, let alone “flutter” about.
summer sucks, is what i’m saying here.
