i glimpse of the magical scene in front of the window.
By rence on 05.04.2008
i glimpsed her around the corner of the block. Those luscious white eyes, the round face with high cheekbones, the mysterious smile. She disappeared, with a sound of laughter trailing her. I ran after her footsteps, and followed to paradise…

First glimpse into her eyes, she’d captured my heart. Needed to touch to hold, never part. First glimpse at her beauty, all reasoning failed. On her soul my being gently sailed.

to me when i associate with this word i think the sunset and looking up into the sky… seeing birds and planes flying in to the sunset… clear skies sun shining brightly everything perfect in the world

i looked and saw what i thought to be my own reflection. but it was just a glimpse of my soul. rather than sit and ponder, i wandered back to my activities for the day. but that glimpse, that glimpse of my soul, remained with me for the rest of the day.

a simple glimpse of a stranger so unique in an unexplicable way that it draws your eyes to her beauty like a magnet and you can’t look away she takes your breath away and your heart skips a beat you get hot and short of breath all in the time of a single glimpse

Looking quickly at the world, or so we see, and our thoughts and our mind burns with intensity. The far away clouds are coming closer with every instant, but all we see is a flicker. No movement is continuous, not here. The sand continues to fall down the glass.

So I stood there trying to capture her glow in my mind, that the glimpse might be more than a fleeting breeze, one that I shall forever long to meet again. But alas, all was lost as the clock struck and my thoughts were jarred.

I only caught a glimpse of that word. Not enough time to get the full picture.

I love seeing glimpses of my almost three year old daughter when she discovers something new, funny, or scary. Her face is priceless. Glimpses of her are what I love to see. She is a bundle of glimpses!

What if all someone saw of me was a glimpse. What would they think of me then?

I dont even know what that means! (I have an excuse, english is not my mother tongue).
Oh, I remember this expression: “catch a glimpse”…. I am not sure if this is accurate….

one glimpse is all it took to get me hooked on the fine, little lady. she was sparkling… today she is my wife. just a glimpse…
it is therefore dangerous to glimpse my friend

A glimpse seems like something you would see in a mirror. It doesn’t really show you, doesn’t show who you are, what make you laugh. It just shows a glimpse of a part of you. It just shows what people on the street see, but that really isn’t really you at all.

Crumbs almighty! I caught a glimpse of a cow and a horse trying to flirt with each other. It made me sick, and on the subject, I have an awesomes name.
By Mafalda Hopkirk on 05.04.2008
The reflection of myself in the mirror looked anxious and scared. My long blonde hair was matted and dirty from my dangerous escape earlier. Suddenly, I caught a glimpse of a black figure behind me. I went to turn and everything went dark as I fell into unconsciousness.

I’d like to see what it would be like to open a book with my words in it. Maybe there would be some comfort there. If it made me proud rather than embarrassed, I should then like to tell someone about it but not too much.

into the future, that’s what it makes me think about. A glimpse of your coming life, what dreams may be fulfilled, what will happen to your loved ones. If we could all just have one glimpse, what might we do differently in our world?

As I caught a glimpse of the sunset, I realised that time had seemed to fly by. I sat and pondered about how I came to be, what had happened to my past. As the thoughts raced through my mind, my head spun.

I couldn’t see the rest of her face, just the upper half framed by ginger curls and shocking emerald eyes. This glimpse was all I needed to jump off the bus and run to meet the girl at the newspaper counter.

one look of the eye that could easily give you a total first impretion of the object you watched. but somtimes its not enough.
By ziv on 05.04.2008
glimpsing is quick just simple easy looking at things subtle you don’t see all just the surface but funnily enough, sometimes this can lead to the most accurate impression. you can tell a lot from seeing the surface, by just seeing the simplest of all things. before you are blinded by the complex stuff.
By Caitlin on 05.04.2008
Glimpse. Yeah, its looking at something, but really really quickly. So, you only look at it for a fraction of a second, eg. “I glimpsed this way, but I can’t remember the details”. Detains being what was in that direction.

One glimpse is all it takes for me. A bat of the eyelashes, a quick smirk and I’m goo. Unfortunately, that doesn’t help the situation at all. …Women.

A little look into something bigger than you originally thought. A little snippet of something amazing, something you’d want to see more of but it would take away from it’s greatness.

its a look
when one sees but unsees
or sees what one doesnt neccessairly know he is seeing.
maybe it is the look that one chooses to ignore
or the thought that one saw just once but wishes to keep forever.
a glimpse is that moment, whe n maybe wisdom touched
or a chord struck teh soul

The glimpse of her was enough for his heart to surrender. The surrender was in the arms of someone whom he would live rest of his life and would cherish the most memorable moments which would be like a dream.

what I see in the window is not what is real. it is that, a glimpse. it is a fever, barely sheening on the skin. It feels good, it is near, it is close. How can I explain how close it is without just saying that it’s close? Can it get closer? Is it a flash in the darkness or light or in color? Whatever it is, it never lasts, like anything, it all, your memories, your body.

I looked at him quickly- it was only a glimpse. I sighed as I realized that he was not looking at me. I walked away, looking sadly at the world around me, hoping against hope that everything would be right.

It is a curious thing – a glimpse. You catch it with the corner of your eye – be it a passing car, a boy on the other side of the street, a bee in a flower – ut this is what makes our days colorful. They consist of such glimpses – such small miracles.

a glimpse of water or air and breathing heavily aloud.

there was that moment were everything was dark, and i got a glimpse of light in your eyes, your teeth flashed wildy and i knew it was the end, cowering in the corner i bet my lip and clenched my eyes shut, i fear to see what shall proceed the light.

Glimpses of the people I could be. But they pass me by as I fall back into my rut. With a bit of extra effort I could be those people. But then I wouldn’t be sitting here eating milo out of the tin with a spoon. And that is pretty awesome. Then again maybe those people do that too, with a funkier spoon.

To see at a short period of time. To catch someones eye quickly. I love catching my wifes eye, the glint from it, the smile that comes with it, the love and joy that we both share just from a glimpse. It is awesome. I love to glimpse and my wife.
By markeades on 05.04.2008
i got a glimpse of her as she got off the train. she was beautiful with long dark hair and a great body.

I used to see everything as a blur because my eyesight was so bad and I could never bring myself to wear glasses and contact lenses always limited the things you could do. I then got some contact lenses that you can wear constantly for a month and this changed my life. Now when I glimpse something I see it in perfect clarity and the bad thing is that when my sight was blurred, my imagination saw perfection, but now that I can see perfectly, all I see is imperfection.

more than a shiny look.
By Ricardo on 05.04.2008
I caught a glimpse of the strangers eyes whilst I was waiting for my train. They were dark, brooding, even pained. He hadn’t slept in a while. Or perhaps had slept far too much, nodding on the floor of a near midnight tube station as the rats sped across it.
