    Still, sleep tomorrow.

Water. Water is really such a key element to the growth of humans too. We are mostly water, after all! When we grow it is a sign that we are healthy. And that we are giving our bodies what they need.

Entranced by its beauty she tried to pick it, but it would not budge. She laid down beside the flower for the rest of the evening admiring the beauty of each petal and shade.

  19. I thought my first love would happen in an instant
That it would be more than a spark

    And cared for
    To itself be given love

    And covers me fully

I thought my first love woudn’t happen
    Until I met
    Your soul

  23. Barry was just another hippy too old to be a hippy, growing marijuana in the back forty of his property in southern Oregon. He was just another enthusiastic collector of funky bongs and pipes and suncatchers and fun times…until he was struck by lightning and became enlightened and folks assumed that meant he’d be amenable to giving free advice. He spent much time lovingly explaining that the definition of “intensely aware person” is not “blithering idiot”…until their terminal insensitivity naturally doomed them and Barry saw that to kill one of them would bring him his current peace in prison, smoking dope with the guards and reading Nisargadatta’s “I Am That” on his back in his cell.

  24. growing, everyday, regardless of the want for it,
but maybe it’s the need kicking in.
    growing, everyday,
    either too much too fast,
    not even a notable amount,
or in the perfect kind of way
    at just the right time.
    growing, everyday,
    until it dies.

  26. The growth, the endless growth of the night upon the lambs. The grass it grows at night too, it sees the lambs in the nights and speaks to the stars as they go by in their ceaseless dance of glory and light. That is, until the sun comes up to steal their glory, like a king among his soldiers after a war. But there grass, and the lambs, they know they must needs him for something. Else he would not be there, and so they absorb what warmth they can. And Grow. And Know. And Learn.

  31. The world is constantly in a state of growing. Life always moves forward whether we like it or not. During this process, we make mistakes, we succeed, and we learn a lot about ourselves, and how we fit into the world. We grow. We change. We love. We champion ourselves, and our weaknesses. 32. In spite of himself, in spite of all the concentration and effort and passion he was pouring into the movement, he couldn’t deny that that stupid winecask Grantaire was growing on him. Enjolras could try to distract himself in any way he could imagine, he could pour every ounce of energy he had into rallying the people to revolt, yet still, on the very edges of his vision, those wild, dark curls and that saucy, shit-eating grin would appear through the red haze of the revolution. Would try to convince him to slow down, to be young while he still could. But constant as it was, it would not prove enough until the very end.

  37. you have a love of growing things
    that i love to watch

    you hover over plant seedlings
anxious until the little green stalks
start to push out of the dirt

drive me mad if i didn’t know

that you look at me with that same
    bright hunger
