half stands for not completely full nor completely empty. when you see something half full it is neither good or bad so therefore it is just in the middle like limbo. doing something half way is not completing the task and therefore is incomplete which leads to in a way failure. never half ask anything because you don’t give it your all and that isn’t good so in the end you need to do everything full out because that is success while doing something halfway is mediocrity.
