  10. I couldn’t hear anything with my headphones on. Not the screams from downstairs, not the thundering footsteps up and down and all around the house, not even the roaring from my father. Every note of sanity rang tried and true in my ears, and sometimes, I could only wish that the music deafened me. So that the last sound I’d hear, instead of my mother cussing out my brother and my father throwing chairs, was a screeching chorus.

And headphones are one of the best ways to enjoy such a wonderful thing; they allow us to truyly enjkoy the music without having to deal with all of the excess outseid noise that you have to listen to if you are using a simple thing such as a stereo. Which is just wrong. No idea why, but it is. I don’t like earbuds

  40. I’m not sure how I feel about headphones. They make it so other people can’t hear your music (well, most of the time) so you can still listen to music when other people don’t like it. But I feel like so much of music is a social aspect. People can truly connect through it. Headphones eliminate that possibility.
