  11. I turned my head to the side to look at my husband. He was sitting at his desk, dimly lit by a small goose neck lamp. He had his glasses on, even though he needed new ones. They were in poor condition, being held together with masking tape. I had stepped on them one too many times.

Will you give me a sign?
I don’t know who you are,

I think I just need a little bit of insight.

  14. a husband. Who really needs one? I’ve come to think of a marriage as nothing more than a fancy way of saying you’re in a relationship. Now a days, they end just as quickly as they start, and all it really is, is a promise to each other. But in a world where promises are easily broken and almost never considered, why does a marriage have more meaning than anything else?

  15. So, when I think about it too much, I get kind of worried. Almost as if the same band wrapped around the second finger on my left hand is also tightening around my neck and drawing me closer and closer to somewhere I never wanted to be. She says its love, I say its a contractual obligation. I never won that argument.

  19. His days didn’t go very far anymore. He had always heard of the constrictions that accompanied the golden band, now suffocating blood supply to the nail of the second finger on his left hand, but he had never imagined this; the family based behicles and the school trips scheducled around his eight hour work day, all as a precursor to a physically detatched nights sleep beside his wife.

  20. All I do is day dream of you. All I do is imagine the song that would play when I would walk down the aisle and all I see is you. All i imagine is the song I would sing for you, just me and my piano. All I do is imagine you wanting to be my husband. All I do is imagine you and me and us together forever. I love you so much it hurts.
“Just to look in your eyes again,
Just to lay in your arms
Just to be the first one, always there for you.
    ….
For you, for the rest of my life
For you, for the best of my life
For you alone, only for you.”
    ~John Denver

It was a rather sobering moment, when they informed him he was going to be deported. “Uhh,” he said, wildly looking around before grabbing my arm, “But we’re getting married,” I smiled, trying not to act surprised.

  30. Future husband… how i love you even now. I’m in love with the idea of our future together and the children we’ll have. Husband, I love you for loving me as much as you do and will do. Husband, lover, best friend. My sweetheart and and my sun-and-stars. I love you.

Husbands are like a rock to some women. they are always there for them and wont let anything bad happen to them. Finding a husband is challenging, but there is always someone out there for every person.
