is what i want. i want to be abroad and traveling and exploring and learning and not stuck here working and putting up with parker and all his shit and all the shit from all the customers, I’m better than this and I want to be any and everywhere else but here. I want to travel and live.
The world today is becoming more communicative, which one would think would make things more international, but there are always forces resisting people coming together. Fortunately there’s the internet to counteract people like that–international videos, email, twitter, blogging.
She was an international felon. From the moment she sat next to me on that plane, I knew I was in trouble. I fell for her, and I fell hard. To be fair, she wasn’t hard to fall for. Her voice was smoother than any I’d ever heard. She caught me in her little web of deception, and almost instantly, I was a criminal for life.
People think that globalization makes things better. But not necessarily. It only makes things better for the people who need the market. If there’s no infrastructure, inter-structure’s useless.
International studies – Nantes, in spring of 2010. I’ll be nineteen, and scared, and young, and hopefully have the time of my life. French is a beautiful language, and I am the only one in my family – or my group of friends – who speaks it, and cares for it. Oh, France, how I shall love you.
I have been to many different continents around the world. I have been to europe, asia, south america, and i live in north america. i wish i could go on some more trips around the world.
international relations seem to be getting better under Obama. I have just ehard about him reducing restrictions on travel and money transfer to Cuba. I must say I respect him for actually trying to make a change to ancient American policy
The man dropped his bags near the “international” sign He didn’t see the woman lowering her sunglasses in the corner of the baggage claim. When he turned around he didn’t see her grab his bag. When he turned around again he didn’t see anything.
international. that involves lots of countries. it would be nice if all countries got along so that there wouldn’t be any conflict. i think conflict in general is bad. i was raised to somewhat be scared of it. i don’t like it but that’s just the way it is
faraway, right near home. links, love and connection. different, strange but familiar. amazing and forien. nice and wierd. countries and customs. across the board, links of people and things.
the international press will be all over Philadelphia this week. With the passing of longtime ,lendgendary fan favorite bcraster Harry Kalas. He was more than an announcer, he WAS the Phillies.
A man was traveling overseas to go off and see a foreign film in it’s place of orgin. When he got there however, he realized it was much better to go off to Amsterdam and smoke weed. After much deliberation on wheter to buy another ticket he went on board a train to go and watch the movie there while going to Amsterdam
everything is getting internationalized or rather globalized.. y shud we even have anything called international.. world shud be one nation and therefore everything would be intra-national and there wouldnt be any need of international. no visas.
i wonder about the international house of pancakes. i’ve never been in one, but they have this weird rap, like denny’s and waffle house. like you would only go there if you were totally desperate. sometimes i see their commercials, and they’re always talking about the other stuff they serve, but if it’s not pancakes, then who cares.
International is a very fine word that speaks of travels and travails of living abroad to me. It’s hectic yet wonderful to live in another land, especially one in which people from many lands live together–and none of them are entirely at home there. It’s a crazy world, and you cannot really appreciate that unless you have lived abroad and gotten over the tourist honeymoon stage.
Cosmopolitan people are those who realize they belong not to a family, a community, a race, a culture, but to an international organism that depends on the well-being of all therein.
Yesterday’s sunrise in Japan was no longer seen in Mexico. Unfortunately, for the Peruvians, they were loaded under the vulcanic ashes the Mount Fuji had spit out during its overnight burping session.
love, life cuisine, travel with my husband. dream i have. taking friends to some fun things. forgiven politics bore me. life on the beach where it is warm. and plentiful. laughing everyday.
International seems to be the it word today.. Everyone, everybody wants to buy something international, go and get some international tag to their businesses..get international looks, keep internationally updated… Well.. Here I am sitting and thinking what is all this fuss about!?
it is meant to be the association or cooperative work of several branches. can be either from an enterprise, work, people. It can be applied to jobs, to ways of traveling, to the special characteristics from any task.
The United Nations – a grandiose hall of international leaders without any interior decorator. I mean green desk and turquoise chairs – and those murals. Gold walls. It is a mess.
This quality, this accolade the focus of my life, the resonance of my desire, the firm implementation of which, will arouse the jealousy and respect of others . An intangible quality, framed in mystery and shrouded in wisdom, both at the same time in one figure … me … someday
Being international in todays world seems more and more common, people travelling abroad more than ever. But what does it mean to be ‘international’? Can you be an international person just saying at home? Is it something more than just stepping on a plane and ending up in benidorm?
Somalian pirates. Take hostages. While brothers and sisters, grandparents and babies stay home. Sickened by nuclear waste. Italian mafia will get rid of that for you- on the cheap.
International. Waters. Somalian pirates. They are considered the enemy. Yet, Greed rolled through the waters in starch whites, denim and collar shirts, bandannas and gravy beards, and no one questioned. Enemy? Enemy? What have you done?
International? What does that bring to mind? Travel, of course. I absolutely love to travel – would like to go almost anywhere in the word – perhaps with the exception of …. can’t remember the name of that place, somewhere in Africa where the warlords rule the place and its soooooooooo dangerous. This is a really boring bit of writing …. what the hell …. there;s always tomorrow’s word….. .
I always wanted to be an international student. Maybe at New York? Or even at Japan. I want to experience the life as an international student. Their.. lows and highs of their lives.
International… Such as from a multitude of countries. Makes one think about many things, many cultures becoming as one. I like to learn about new cultures. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we took the time to learn about the world around us?
it’s now. it’s you. it’s me. it’s everything. embrace it. learn about it. seek it. it’s endless opportunities…endless knowledge…endless people. we are international. i wish i were more international.
oh…I have so much to say. I’ve lived an international life, huh? YEP. A little too international if you ask me. I feel over it! Done with adventure! Who knows though. I may end up moving to someplace completley different. New. Uncharted.
An arena with which not many people are familiar. Many of the people in the world have yet to travel outside of their towns, let alone outside of their native countries. Internationalism will potentially help us to build a stronger world, one which assists the poor and is able to cease fighting, or at least to work toward peace.
My mom is from Taiwan. I wish I could be an international journalist or lawyer. But that means I’d have to travel and it’s hard to raise a family over seas. I enjoy international news over local news.
