  1. She gripped the iron bar in her hand tightly, swallowing as she peeked around the corner. Taking a deep breath in she dashed around it, pressing herself against a dark wall silently.
Then, arms wrapped around her and a voice whispered in her ear, breathy and hoarse, “Oh, it looks like I found you Neko-chan.”
    She couldn’t move.

  2. Iron. Theres nothing I can say about it. Except for the time I accidentally got burned with one. The iron, so hot, so painful……I have scars. Scars from you. Internally. When you left me……It was painful. Nothing can compare to the pain of loneliness, and depression. Nothing, nothing at all. Not even the hot sting of the iron against my bare skin…

  3. Tastes like iron, red like wine. You stretch out lazy next to me and sigh like you’ve never been more satisfied in your life. You look at me with dark hooded eyes. I’m already gone, it’s too late to stop it now.

  4. You can use a flat iron to straighten your hair, iron is also a strong metal and something found in our bodies. all 3 of these things are different. But now i have no idea what to write so. im done.

  5. an iron is a thing that you use to make creases come out of clothes. I don’t really like ironing but I’ll do it if I need ironing to be done with my clothes. I don’t know how irons work, but I find them very cool when I need clothes clean and nice. Ironing boards with creases in make me laugh, they’re so ironic, which is funny because Ironic has the word Iron in it. How peculiar. I don’t really know what else to say about irons – other than I guess that the metal part is made out of iron. I know it’s really frowned upon to iron your hair also, because it burns it and is used a lot in comedy films.

  6. The blood dripping from her mouth was supposedly iron. That’s what the scientists said after all. She couldn’t make much judgement about alloys and minerals and elements and the like but she did know one thing. It was salty … And invigorating. Lapping up the rest of it from the edges of her coarse lips she set out, following the scent of iron and blood.

  7. standing up watching my new step mom walk down the aisle in a beautiful dress that trails her with about two feet i somehow manage nerves of iron
    on the outside at least
on the inside i’m a frightened child
been told so many stories as to how my father and my sisters have gotten to this moment
i don’t know what to believe
    so i smile and wave
the resentment i had for the lady has now melted to respect
for i have no solid proof to hate her
but a mist all the emotions
my depression has reached a sick mania
one twisted and hell bent on cohering me to believe tales of why i’m unworthy of the life i have
i must not lie, i probably am not
the medications are in the mail but that alone will not calm me
so for now i stand watching her get walked down the aisle by her eldest son
it’s beautiful and i’m so happy to be a part of it
but my mind wants to drift to much darker place
somehow i’ll manage to keep my nerves of iron
and keep my delusions mildly discussed

  16. Iron man!!! How come iron is a positive word for men, but not for women????

  17. Hard as iron. That’s what Alison had come here to be. She had learned from the best and gone though training that still gave her nightmares, but she stood now strong and defiant against the world. She wasn’t sure that she was hard as iron yet, but she was damn well harder than she had been as a weeping child. She let her jacket fly off her shoulders as she looked down at the city below her–a mishmash of tangled Christmas lights. She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with cold air as she cracked her knuckles. Then she exhaled sharply, forcing her lungs to contract. Empty and hollow, Alison took a step off of the edge of the building. The lights swirled around her now like a golden stream as she fell, dark hair whipping at her face. She tried to keep track of them, to count each ring of lights as they passed.
She crossed her arms as she allowed her eyes to close for a moment, failing to draw breath from the air that cut at her face. Then she felt the line at the end of her foot go taut. Her dark eyes opened as she curled into a ball, unhooking the line from her foot as she crashed through the buildings of the window.

Of course, it can be used scientifically, as it literally should be, but it is also used as an adjective. Due to the characteristics of iron – its toughness and strength – it can be used to describe various things; an ‘iron heart’, or an ‘iron spirit’; it is now used to make something sound stronger and more courageous.

  35. Der Iron Man trägt eine schwere Rüstung. Er ist ständig in Gefahr zu verrosten oder unter dem ganzen Eisen einzubrechen. Er ist eine Art Ritter Rost, allerdings ohne amüsant zu sein. 39. the inner core of the earth is made of mostly metal alloys, iron in particular. because iron is so dense, it gradually sinks deeper and deeper into the earth creating layers of different rock and metal (in order of density) until hitting the core. normally it would be pure liquid since it’s so goddamn hot in the center of the earth but due to the high amount of pressure the core is actually a solid.
